I was treated very poorly by the service department at Turner Chevrolet. They changed the oil and replaced the serpentine belt on my truck and then I discovered the truck was leaking oil that evening from Turner Chevrolet. They changed the oil and replaced the serpentine belt on my truck and then I discovered the truck was leaking oil that evening from an oil line directly underneath the serpentine belt. The lines were likely damaged when they changed the belt since the truck never leaked oil before that day. I was supposed to move to Florida the next day so I took the truck there first thing in the morning and they decided not to even look at it until 2:30 in the afternoon. During the day, I called multiple times with no answer so I eventually had to show up there in person to speak with Tim the service manager to explain to him how urgent it was that the truck get fixed that day. They did not fix it that day but they did get it fixed the following day. I explained to Tim that they likely caused the damage to the lines so he did say that he would work with me on the price of the repair. However, when I went to pick up the truck, I was charged the full $1,100 cost of the repair. I’m glad I moved to Florida so I never have to deal with this shady and lying service department again. If this is how GM dealers treat a longtime loyal customer, I will never buy another GM vehicle again. I would NOT recommend using Turner’s service department for anything! More
