I set an appointment for an engine diagnosis. Had to wait 7 days. Dropped truck off at 9:00am on a Thursday. Told the service tech it had a p0022 code "variable cam timing". Called on Friday afternoon and was told it wouldn't be looked at till the next week. I went to pick up the truck and they claimed to have done a transmission check but now it had to be in the waiting line for the engine tech, of which they only had one. I know there is a supply chain issue but I never even got to that point 9 days after calling. I could have waited till the next week but no reason to leave it at the dealer until they were going to look at it. This was my second and last new ford. Both had to have transmissions replaced. More
