The reason is not necessarily the deal (extremely good and beat out other Honda dealers in the region) and his knowledge, but specifically his demeanor. He has a very non-condescending, non-intimidating attitude and made me feel extremely comfortable. I must add that I do not know much about automobiles in general but he filled me in on all the details and was very patient with my very elementary questions. My spouse had also got a Honda Civic from him 2 years ago. Tom Robinson will be the first person I'd mention to anyone asking me for a recommendation and will be the person I talk to anytime I am looking for a new car.
