Let me start by saying I bought my car from them in May 2022. I paid $21,000 so it was not a junk car. I have reached out to the dealership dozens of times to try to get the situation handled, every single 2022. I paid $21,000 so it was not a junk car. I have reached out to the dealership dozens of times to try to get the situation handled, every single time they promise me they’re taking it to the higher ups and will get back with me, they have never once called me back. As I was driving this car home from the dealership, the check engine light came on. I paid for the extended mechanical warranty on it, so I took it to my local Chevy dealership to get it checked out. They found that electric wires had been cut apart and taped back together with duct tape. The entire electrical system was fried by this and had to be replaced. The extended mechanical warranty company deemed it a pre-existing, man made issue and refused to fix it so I picked up that bill and paid it out of pocket. They also found in that same visit that there were multiple sensors REMOVED FROM THE CAR to hide its issues (for those that don’t know, that’s illegal to do. Trophy Nissan also claim to have inspected the car and them passing the car for state inspection in that condition is also illegal). In the time I’ve owned it, I’ve replaced the entire electrical system, the entire oil system, cylinders that have gone out, and too many other things for me to even remember them all. This car has spent more time at the shop than in my driveway. I understand that I bought a used car and that some repairs are to be expected so I never made a review voicing my frustration until today. Today was the final straw. When I bought this car, I was very vocal about wanting gap insurance and told them I would not buy a vehicle without gap insurance. I brought this up numerous times while working on paperwork and was told each time that it was included in the contract and that I was fine. My mom was there with me as I signed the paperwork and she also heard them guarantee me multiple times that the gap insurance was included. Today I received a letter from my loan company regarding gap insurance, when I called them I was told that gap insurance is handled by the dealership and that I would have to call them. Today when I called, they informed me that I have never had gap insurance, basically told me sorry about my luck, and hung up on me. I can not encourage people enough to take their business elsewhere. Unfortunately after buying the car I asked around and had numerous other people tell me that they have also been screwed over by this dealership, so it was not a one time fluke. More
