Don't waste your time. The salespeople are really helpful when it comes to taking your money and getting you into one of their vehicles, but that's about as good as it gets. The service department is absolut More

Troncalli Subaru responded

This is in response to owner Bedard, and the issues regarding his 2005 Subaru STI The vehicle was purchased by the owner from us on 12/2008 with 41,231 miles. The owner purchased a service contract for 6 years/100,000 miles which expired on 5/21/2011, six years from original in service date. This vehicle was never brought to us for any scheduled maintenance. In February 2010, with 60,659 miles on the vehicle, the customer returned for a noise under the hood. We replaced the turbo and rear wheel bearings under the service contract. There was later discovered an oil pressure valve was stuck in the oil pump, causing oil starvation. This is unrelated to the turbo replacement. The engine was rebuilt and main bearings were replaced under the service contract. The customer also had a severely worn clutch which he did pay to replace. There was no further scheduled maintenance done by us on the vehicle to date. On 10/19/11 the customer returned again with an engine noise. The vehicle now had 93,864 miles. The customer refused to pay for any diagnostic. He contacted Subaru who also declined to cover the expense. The car remained on our lot until 11/11/11. We met with the owner and offered assistance on the tear down of the engine and diagnostic charges. The owner insisted on us paying for the repair. We declined. The customer had the vehicle towed off our property after 3 weeks.

Buying the car was a great experience and service is great also. Subaru dealers really care about their customers. The salesman was concerned about what I paid and continued to check on my satisfactio More
