After convincing them that I was not interested in a brand new car, they found me exactly what I wanted--an Edge - almost new, low mileage, and the exact color combination. It took a few extra days to finally be able to drive it off the lot because of a couple of "door dings" that needed to be fixed, but it was worth the wait. There were a few frustrations along the way for both the staff and myself, but it all turned out great in the end. More

The only down part was the fact that my vehicle was dirty on the inside when I received it because the "make-ready" team was so slow. I brought it back the next day and waited 2 hours and all they did was wash the outside when I clearly told them to removed the mud on the inside of floorboards that were there prior to me picking the vehicle up. Other than that, everything else was amazing. More

Even pulling it around to the service area so we could check it out and get in for a test drive without getting soaked with the rain Amarillo was getting that day! Everyone in the dealership was more than helpful. Anytime Trey had to leave us alone for a minute to go check on something someone else came by to see if we needed anything. Tim Boggs in finance did a great job of getting us the features and coverage we needed while staying within our budget. No one tried to "upsell" us with things we didn't need, but when we asked for extras (running boards, tool box) they were quick to get them added. We now own two vehicles from Tri-State Ford. Even though the salesmen were different a year ago, the experience was much the same. That speaks highly of the standard and expectation of the leadership. Although we plan for these vehicles to last a long time. I will certainly go back to Tri-State when it's time for a new one. And I will continue to recommend Tri-State to my friends and family. More

Amazing dealership and employees My wife, myself, and my son were traveling across the country from Tennessee to California when we hit a bit of snag. The engine in our 2011 Hyundai Sonata blew up and so we ended up breaking down on I-40, an hour from Amarillo. We ended up having our car towed to the nearest Hyundai dealership which happened to be next to the Ford dealership. When we were told by the Hyundai dealership that it would be a few weeks until we would be able to receive a new engine with an expense of over $4,000, we decided to instead trade-in our car so we could be on our way as soon as possible. The dealership sent us across the way to Johnny Taylor at Tri-State Ford, and our family is so glad we ended up at that dealership with Johnny to help us out. Johnny helped us out in so many ways, including ensuring that our Hyundai got a bidder, meeting our needs with the new car we wanted, and making sure he answered all of our questions. Due to the fact that we had to wait until the next day to leave with a car (due to financial reasons), he even drove us to a nearby motel with all of our luggage in tow. We ended up buying a brand new 2016 Ford Edge, and so far it drives like a dream and gives us the extra space we desired. This was an amazing experience and if it ever happens again, we hope the world breaks us down as close to Amarillo, Texas as possible. Thank you Johnny, and thank you Tri-State Ford! More
