When I walked into Tri-County Toyota to purchase my first car I was immediately greeted by Robert who was friendly, attentive, and had great recommendations for some cars in my price range that would fit my car I was immediately greeted by Robert who was friendly, attentive, and had great recommendations for some cars in my price range that would fit my needs. A couple of test-drives later I had found the perfect car, a used Scion xB. Robert was very patient, informative, and answered all of the questions I had (and also answered the questions I had not thought to ask). Even after the sale had been made, he made sure to take plenty of time to ensure I was comfortable with every aspect of the car and how to operate various features. The entire service team was very helpful when it came time to handle all of the paperwork. My insurance provider had made some mistakes on my paperwork, but Robert and Sales Manager Ken worked with me every step of the way to solve the confusion and get me happily driving my new vehicle. While at Tri-County Toyota everyone I dealt with gave me their full attention, making the entire experience as easy for me as possible. At no point was anyone pushy or simply trying to make a sale for the sake of selling a car. I felt relaxed and confident that Robert and Ken were doing their best to match me with the right vehicle. First of all, we were told the car was done, then when the service people checked it again, it wasn't fixed. We were told it would take 2-3 days to get the part. (Tri-county is a toyota dealer and they don't overnight their parts?) When I called to be sure it was done, the service technician transferred me to the operator, who transferred me to the cashier, who never answered the phone. I had to call back and the operator stated,"They are very busy,they probably couldn't answer the phone." When I called back,I was given a total for the work. I aksed my husband to call because this was not the quoted price. He was given a different total. He determined I was charged twice for the part on my bill. We determined this ourselves only because the total was more than the quoted price. Someone else had signed my invoice when I went to pick up the car. I had another car to service and did not know about the drop off policy of the drive-in service. I had parked this car in a space and was told that would not be acceptable, even though I knew the number of the space. The car had to be driven in by me. After all the other hassle, this is good customer service? More
