When I visited Tri-County Ford not only did I find the right vehicle but also a Sales staff that is low pressure, friendly, and knowledgeable. Mark Monroe is an excellent example of Customer Service. He is knowledgeable about his product, understands the ins and outs of the purchasing process, and is always available for my "off the wall" questions. While other dealerships seemed to lack answers, Mark was always prepared. Toward the wrap up of my deal Manny Rodriguez provided some supporting and beneficial inputs the totally reinforced the friendly, team approach in place at Tri-County Ford. And besides all of this, my new vehicle is a dream! More

Buyer beware of finance department About a week before purchasing I made an offer to purchase and received a call from the assistant manager (I think it was Andy) stating that they set About a week before purchasing I made an offer to purchase and received a call from the assistant manager (I think it was Andy) stating that they set the prices to sell and that we were too far apart. He also said that at the price he had it for sale he only had $500 of profit in it. Three days later, they lowered the price by $1000 and did not even call me when I said if the price comes down let me know I am interested. I worked with Jennifer the online representative as a point of contact and she was very helpful. I made another offer and Paul the manager called and we agreed on a price. Neither of us felt like we won, which means it was a fair deal for both parties. Paul had Scott call me and work out the details on a test drive. Scott was nice throughout the process and was helpful while at the dealership. Paul had Todd (the finance manager) call me to work out the final paperwork. When Todd called, I let him know that I prefer financing through my bank unless he could get me a better interest rate somewhere else. I had a quote of 3.49% interest that I shared with him. Then we sat down to sign the paperwork, Todd presented my wife an me with a rate of over 5% and even left the note from our call stating the preferred bank! I told him I would not use their bank and immediately called mine. While talking to my bank, he comes back out with paperwork for a loan from my bank at 3.14%. No problem, we got to where wanted to be it just took longer because he did not listen to my initial request. The next day, my wife and I both get notifications that TCF requested 4 different credit reports! Both our scores drop a few points in one day. Of course I was upset, but figured I would call and express my concern to the GM as opposed to writing any of the reviews they requested I fill out for them. Every business deserves the chance to apologize and make things as right as possible. At this point I get a call from Ashley one of their team members at TCF asking about our satisfaction. I explained that Jennifer, Scott, and Paul were all pleasant but I had concerns with what Todd and the finance department did. She asked if I would like someone to call me back and I said yes, I want to give them one last chance. It is now 12 days later and no follow up from. Tri County Ford. Buyer beware of the finance department at TCF! Check your documents and do research ahead of time, so you don’t pay more in financing than necessary. More
