They do have rude salespeople and service people! their rude! I did walk into the dealership and ask a few salespeople about their cheapest jeep they ignored me like I was a ghost if you have seen t their rude! I did walk into the dealership and ask a few salespeople about their cheapest jeep they ignored me like I was a ghost if you have seen the movie ghost and after my jeep was out of there shop before it broke down again and they did not even point the passenger lower ball joint out to me so after you have your car repaired have someone in your family that knows about cars check it out the suspension front and rear and brakes, after the repair shop is done, my suggestion is get somebody to work on your car you trust, If this rating and service was a credit score it would be a poor one to none at all for success. I thought I heard one say no your set for a neck breaker, my last experience there was not got on either page. They told me they had no crystal ball. Does their service require a crystal ball? Or should their service require a crystal ball when your jeep falls apart a few days after they repair your car or try to sale you one? Their service team looked over my front suspension, I broke down a few days later guess what the break down was in the front suspension! Costing me $270.00 in tow fee and a wheel after a ball joint they looked over broke it was without a half boot at rot and rusted! I paid about $1,950.02 in repair bill. The parts outweighed the service charge $174.00 an hour, I told them to check it out well the suspension. In the year of 06/25/2024. They just replaced the driver upper control arm complete, lower ball joint on driver, and the brakes on both front sides disk and brakes. Seems like they are slow as well considering the time and the job. Over $1176.69 service X $174.00 an hour service fee that puts it in for alignment 30 minutes. The regular service look over before they start $174.00 I figure they charged me for 6.76 hours I don't know if they charged me for a tow it the driver lower ball joint broke down in their jeep lot the first time the first ball joint then it the passenger ball joint lower broke down days after on the highway and I had it towed home they over looked a passenger lower ball joint that had a rotted boot and was well worn out I have photos. All I ask was them to refund the tow bill and wheel also hurt my leg because I felt they was responsible for my jeep breaking down that sudden, the lawyer bill would have costed me $3,500.00 and I couldn't have received near that maybe what I mentioned if I won according to the law firm and isn't justice great for the car dealer. He did say I had a good case though but not worth, my money. The tri-cites salespeople and service laughed at me when I requested the tow etc. fee paid back and hung up so after you read this don't you want tri-cities dodge to service you in any way. A few months before this happened I had them fix my radiator I brough the jeep back the Air Conditioner did not work , and it work before I stuck it in the jeep repair shop. When you call their number, they have a man singing "we work hard for you" well I am not convinced of it. When you visit Tennessee you know about tri-cities Chrysler dodge jeep ram. "They're not for you tri-cities dodge" is what the man needs to be singing on the phone message. I am not convinced they need us as customers anymore. I don't think they deserve the one-star rating this review board gives? I would rate them 0 stars 1. And this was the dealership on stone drive not Johnson city Tennessee! I was told i couldn't get any other dealership than a jeep dealership to repair or replace my PCM so I will use the dealership in Johnson city tn. I did ask if they was certified to work on jeeps. Because the one on stone drive obviously is not or they are blind or just don't care if you make it down the road safe .? More
I highly recommend Austin Ryder, salesman at Tri-Cities Dodge. Found me the Grand Cherokee I was looking for. Got a fair trade in on my old vehicle. No pressure, very courteous. Dodge. We are very pleased! Alexis and Dan were able to help me find a newer, nicer vehicle. And Bill in service was also very helpful, both in telling me what my old vehicle needed as well as helping me with some find a newer, nicer vehicle. Made the 2 hour drive from Knoxville to Kingsport, only to have them tell me they sold it already. They even called me back to confirm I was coming. I dealt with Tyler Neal. He handled everything via phone and emails as per my request. Our deal was made before I drove 300 miles to buy my new vehicle at Tri-Cities. No hard sell even with finance person and emails as per my request. Our deal was made before I drove 300 miles to buy my new vehicle at Tri-Cities. No hard sell even with finance person which took about 5 minutes as everything was ready for signatures. I told Tyler up front I had no intention of purchasing an extended warranty. I was never pressed to buy one. Tyler spent a lot of time showing us the many options available on my new vehicle and even paired my phone at the same time. I bought the vehicle I wanted from Tri-Cities because of Tyler Neal but next time it will be because of Tyler and how this dealership handled the entire process. More
Make sure everything is in writing. Their word is no good. If the vehicle is not right when you drive it off, new or used ,they made the sale and they are done with you. Nothing they say will be backed good. If the vehicle is not right when you drive it off, new or used ,they made the sale and they are done with you. Nothing they say will be backed up. More
