They use a common illegal scam where they advertise a car as “Certified Pre-Owned” and list that it includes a warranty for a below market value price, then charge a CPO fee of almost $1000 along with an alm as “Certified Pre-Owned” and list that it includes a warranty for a below market value price, then charge a CPO fee of almost $1000 along with an almost $1000 dealer doc fee, so expect to pay several thousand more on top of taxes, etc. (According to the FTC, if they advertise that the car is “Certified Pre-Owned” then that warranty is supposed to already be included in the advertised price. When confronted about the fee, they refused to take the fee off and just said that someone else will be willing to buy the car for that price. They are fully aware that this is an illegal practice, but apparently it’s a profitable scam. More

I found my salesman and Treasure Coast Toyota of Stuart through DealerRater after following the Car Mom on instagram. I unfortunately went through a lemon law process recently and have been on the market f through DealerRater after following the Car Mom on instagram. I unfortunately went through a lemon law process recently and have been on the market for a Tacoma for 2 months. I have easily been in contact with over 10 dealerships. I arrived to Treasure Coast Toyota looking to speak with a specific salesman, Scott Wehr, and all of his reviews on here did not disappoint. He is truly the most educated salesman I have ever worked with. He knew the Tacoma inside and out and educated me on numerous things that I actually didn't even know about the truck, even after my thorough research. After Scott sold me on the truck, I had the opportunity to work with Bobby, the sales manager to go over the figures. This was also a really pleasurable experience. As a young female going into a dealership alone, this process can be intimidating. Both Scott and Bobby truly did treat me as if I was their own daughter. I have already recommended them both to several other people. Julian was my finance manager for the deal and he allowed me to carefully read over all of the paperwork and took the time to thoroughly explain everything as I was signing things. He also worked hard to ensure I would get the best possible finance deal available to me. I will be a lifetime customer to Treasure Coast Toyota and hope I get the opportunity to work with both of these gentleman again in the future. More
