Denied Service Dog to Go For a Test Drive On Sunday, 10/21/2018, I went to Treasure Coast Toyota to test drive a 2017/2018 Sienna. I made it very clear that I just wanted to test drive a Sienn On Sunday, 10/21/2018, I went to Treasure Coast Toyota to test drive a 2017/2018 Sienna. I made it very clear that I just wanted to test drive a Sienna due to reviews on the pick up and go in traffic. The Sales Rep Todd wanted to know about if I was ready to buy today and I said NO. My instructions were be firm.. Am I buying a Toyota? Absolutely! this coming week, but not today due to time. The first rep I spoke with when walking in the door kept telling me I should just buy a new 2019 since the Certification vehicles were $3000. more. Why, Toyota researched them for warranties. When they took my information, Todd went to get me the keys. He came back 5 minutes later stating that my Service Dog was not allowed in there cars. If I asked, yes I have carpets in the car for beach days that I would have happily laid out. But No, No DOGS. Even Service Dogs. Needless to say, they won't receive my business. What ticks me off the most is that now I have to find another dealership versus my home town Toyota dealer. So much for supporting the business in Stuart. More

Several years ago, when Treasure Coast Toyota of Stuart was under different ownership, I had a horrific experience with leasing that was a nightmare for many years. When the Woods family took over the dealership, they not only were able to correct the issues of the past, but have actually reversed my negative opinion of Toyota to a very positive one. Fil Catania has worked extra hard for me, in dealing with some physical issues I have with my new Camry. He has definitely gone above and beyond, but most importantly treated me with respect. He has also helped in making impossible transactions very possible. The entire staff goes out of their way to greet their customers in a friendly, inviting way.
