Dear Mr. Kruger, I am so sorry to hear how disappointed you are regarding your last service visit with your 2002 ES300. It is never our goal to upset any of our guests. I remember your visit and just to clarify our position with your vehicle please allow me to explain. You had a different service center change the Lexus Factory halogen bulbs in your headlamps. They replaced them with LED bulbs. We would never do that switch of bulbs. You came in on Saturday and said that these replacement bulbs that another shop installed were not pointing straight and were actually pointing downward. You asked me to "fix" them. I explained that we could not "repair" someone else's work especially when they put in bulbs that do not match Lexus specs for your vehicle. I did offer you the option of replacing the headlamp correctly with all Lexus parts but you declined this option. Instead you asked me to "just tape" the bulbs into the correct position. Again, I explained that I was sorry but we could not do that. I am sorry that I had to say no to your request. That is not the word we like to use around here but it was the correct word in this case. If you would like to do the repair on your vehicle using the correct Lexus parts please let us know. Scott, our Service Director, told me that he would be happy to work with you and get you a great price to do this. Scott has helped you in the past and would love to help you again.
