I thought it was xxxxxxxx that I had bought an extended warranty but prior to the deal being finalized on the paperwork side I decided I'd be better off with the maintenance plan. Edgar asked the guy in c warranty but prior to the deal being finalized on the paperwork side I decided I'd be better off with the maintenance plan. Edgar asked the guy in charge of that and the guy said no not possible. I thought this was not correct - It's always possible to revise a deal like that the day after. In fact the law states that there's a "hot" period on contracts that is 48 hours after signing in which a party can reconsider. As a result I'll follow Edgar wherever he goes, but the next Lexus I buy will be from another deal not in the Treasure Coast business group. I thought this was pretty awful considering a wrote a cash check for the car - no financing - and bought a topi of the line model. My simple conclusion is the guy that helped me with the maintenance contract (which he PITCHED to me) just was too lazy to do a withdraw and rewrite. Also as a realist of this, I will be going to another dealer for Service and Treasure Coast will not get my business especially for the 45K and 65K services. Someone else deserves to get that money. I'll also be sure to tell my friends to go to Melbourne because Treasure Coast now feels to me like a hustle - not a dealer that knows how to deal with high net worth customers that might be buying several more of these for their kids come Christmas.
