My husband I went in looking for a used car. We had awesome service. Herbie, (our sales rep) made sure we got everything we needed and wanted in the car. We left the dealership with our used Firestar t awesome service. Herbie, (our sales rep) made sure we got everything we needed and wanted in the car. We left the dealership with our used Firestar that night very excited. Even after we bought the car Herbie made sure we were taken care of in every way. Thanks so much for a great experience. My wife and I went into lustine looking for a new car. We were greeted by Herbie Rivera who did a wonderful job with finding us the cars we were interested in and showed a wonderful variety. Jessica Santiago worked with the sales dept and she was very nice and had a great knowledge of toyota. Both represented Toyota very well More
When I called to schedule the appt the customer service rep didn't schedule me for the correct servie-she wrote inspection instead of emissions. I had to call back to have her correct it. Then I got a ca rep didn't schedule me for the correct servie-she wrote inspection instead of emissions. I had to call back to have her correct it. Then I got a call back from a service rep to see if I wanted to schedule the service with him, which was very confusing. He was trying to keep my service I suppose, but I didn't know it mattered who I saw. More
Richard Morataya was very easy to work with. I worked with him for a couple months while I made my desicion on what make of vehicle I wanted to buy. Once I narrowed it down, he took the time to make sur with him for a couple months while I made my desicion on what make of vehicle I wanted to buy. Once I narrowed it down, he took the time to make sure I had the exact Tundra I was looking for. I do recommend Lustine and highly recommend you asking for Richard Morataya More
I bought a 2011 Toyota Prius here and this review is for the 10,000 mile service. Bryant was efficient, friendly, and displayed a willingness to make sure I was happy with the service. I went for my 10,000 mile servicing for my 2011 toyota Prius. I called 3 hours before scheduling the appointment and the Assistant service manager Anthony Jones was able to get me an appointment for that Prius. I called 3 hours before scheduling the appointment and the Assistant service manager Anthony Jones was able to get me an appointment for that very day after I got off work. I had been avoiding the service because I thought it would be time consuming but in under 40 minutes-the tire rotation, oil change service etc was complete. Anthony knew I couldn't wait for too long, so the complimentary car wash wasn't done-but he advised I could stop by anytime that I had the time and Anthony would make sure the car gets washed. I am very happy and will come to Lustine for my routine servicing More
Let me think about being on hold now for 35 minutes and still waitting for some one to get back to me. Maybe they lost my car. At this point I'm just waitting to see how long it takes so when I call HQ in still waitting for some one to get back to me. Maybe they lost my car. At this point I'm just waitting to see how long it takes so when I call HQ in Ca.. I can let them know how there deals are treating there customers. I just wounder how long I can wait on hold. By the way its 45 minutes now hope everyone else has a better time with them. More
Short version: This was the worst sales experience I have ever had. Period. I walked away and ended up buying from nearby Rosner in Fredericksburg, where I had a very good experience. Very long version: ever had. Period. I walked away and ended up buying from nearby Rosner in Fredericksburg, where I had a very good experience. Very long version: Day One: We had done our research on-line and knew the exact vehicle we were interested in. We visited Lustine just to check out the feel of bench vs. bucket seating. The salesman showed us the vehicle, we sat in it, and had the info we needed. But the salesman then he told us we'd HAVE to go in the service bay where they'd drive the vehicle and show us ALL its features. No, we politely declined. Suddenly, he began saying that Toyota had a strict process he HAD to follow and that we might get him fired if we didn't cooperate. And he had a family to feed. Did we want to take food out of the mouth of his kids? etc. This was too bizarre for us. We said we were leaving but asked (repeatedly) for his card, telling him if we bought there we'd be sure to note his assistance. He got all agitated and walked off, hurling an obscenity our way. What?! We were stunned. Day Two: After thinking about it we decided that maybe this was a new hire (and thus no card yet?) having a bad day. We shouldn't write off the whole dealership based on this one bizarre interaction. So the next day, we contacted the dealership via e-mail and made an offer on the vehicle. A different sales associate contacted us promptly and I had several email exchanges nailing down a price, being careful to make sure it including all fees, tags, taxes, etc. Oh yes, they assured me IN WRITING, that was the out-the-door price that included everything. I went to the bank, got a check cut and was ready to buy. We got there and got a lengthy review of the vehicle (again citing Toyota procedures that REQUIRED this), took a very brief test drive, etc. Then we sat down to finish up the paperwork and was told, "Oops, we forgot to include a $399 processing fee in the price we quoted you." I was livid. I had a price, in writing from them, and I expected them to honor it. No, they said, they HAD to include this fee...it was pre-printed on the form! Seriously; that's what the guy said! How stupid did they think we were? We got the whole good cop/bad cop routine (Gee, I'd like to give you that price but my manager...) and finally an offer to essentially split the difference. As I explained to them, at that point it was no longer about a couple hundred bucks. If I couldn't trust them when they put things in writing, how could I ever trust them? I walked away, check in pocket. More
RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN!!! I could not get anyone to answer the phone or return a phone call the day after I purchased my car, I was just trying to schedule the add-ons that I got bullied into buying th answer the phone or return a phone call the day after I purchased my car, I was just trying to schedule the add-ons that I got bullied into buying the night before. Poor customer service, lost my keys when I brought it in for service and when they finally found them the 1 hour and 45 minute service was completed in 20 minutes (it was closing time). Plan on being there at 45 minutes BEFORE they bring your car in for service WITH AN APPOINTMENT, this happens EVERYTIME! Funny thing is I "needed" new breaks and tires at my 30,000 mile check (which I did not get) then at my 35,000 mile check I did not need breaks or tires!?!?? Can't wait until my prepaid maintenance is complete and I will NEVER step foot in Lustine Toyota again. Don't bother contacting Toyota Corporate Office as they will only forward your complaint back to Lustine.... More
Unprofessional and not honest. I talked to the salesman on the phone about an advertised offer and promised a price. When we got to the dealership the games started. They offered me a demo with 4650 miles on the phone about an advertised offer and promised a price. When we got to the dealership the games started. They offered me a demo with 4650 miles on it as a new car that was different than what we talked on the phone for 5000 dollars more than what we were quoted on the phone. The floor manager/supervisor was worse than the salesman. Tried to play smart in a very unprofessional way without addressing our issues with the salesman. He proved that this place is top-bottowm NOT an honest group. Based on my experience I don't trust this dealership and do NOT recommend anybody to buy from that dealership. Two hours later I went to another dealership bought a better model. Don't waste your time with this dealership and don't believe their ads in the post or elsewhere. More
