We were pre approved for financing because we applied online ahead of time, and this made the process much easier. The entire process was very quick and easy, and all of our questions were happily answered. We worked with Kyle and Gus and both were extremely friendly and knowledgeable and we highly recommend them. Overall we left very satisfied with our new purchase! More

However, over the years, I have had ever decreasing confidence in their technical competence, due to their diagnosis of expensive repair needs that did not exist (based on second and third opinions from other certified mechanics) and their failure to diagnose actual real problems that were in fact present. The "final straw" for me relates to my power steering. From the moment I picked-up the truck for the first time, brand-new, the steering had absolutely no power assistance and required intense physical effort to be applied when stopped, such as in a parking lot, or at very slow speeds. When I took it in to Clary with this complaint during the warranty period, they said it was "fine" and could find no defect at all. So I then left with the belief that Tacomas have lousy power steering that I would just have to live with, as a certified dealer had told me it was up to spec. Several years later, actually this year, after several techs with other companies, such as Firestone and even a Clary oil servicer, also noticed how poorly it steered and with their encouragement, contacted the national Toyota Customer Service Center. After reviewing the history, as I just stated here, i.e. the problem should have been diagnosed and fixed under warranty, with no charge to me, Toyota agreed to pay 60% of the rather expensive repair, which was performed at Tri-Cities Toyota, as I had no confidence whatsoever in Clary's technical expertise any longer. TCT diagnosed the problem correctly the first time (defective steering box, probably right out off the assembly line), repaired it and for the first time in 6 years, my truck actually has the power steering it should have had from the beginning. As a result, I go to TCT for all my service now, even oil changes, even though it is about twice as far from home as Clary. Their staff are highly-competent, professional and very friendly, from the technicians, to the service writers, right down to the gals that serve the complimentary coffee. The sense of dread I used to experience going to Clary with a problem, i.e. "whether they would be able to find and fix it or not" has been replaced with a feeling of certainty that whatever the issue is, it will be discovered and appropriately repaired. Until they prove otherwise, TCT will be my dealer of choice and it is always a pleasure going there. Sincerely Jeff Yancey More

On August 13, 2011, I stopped in for an oil-change and tire rotation, as 5,000 miles had just rolled over since my last service. I told the agent that I wanted the my usual service, oil-change and tire rotation, the same service I have had there since I purchased the car. After the service was completed I was charged $44.35, instead of the usual $33.43, which I had been charged. When I returned home (I now live in Bellingham) I confirmed this by checking the receipts. When I called back on August 16th to rectify the charges (it took three calls before my call was returned on August 26th) I was told that I had authorized a different type of "multipoint inspection" than usual - one that cost $10 more and included more detailed brake inspection - and that my signature was there to prove it. I told the phone agent that the service forms were the same (I had the copies in front of me, brakes were usually inspected) and that time was the same and that I felt deceived by the whole process. He said that he couldn't give me a refund, but he could give me a $10 credit toward my next service. I didn't feel this was good business. Up until this incident I had been very happy with all my service at this facility, but in this case I felt manipulated. More
I went to Toyota of Tri-Cities to get my oil changed. I was able to pull inside which was nice to keep me out of the wind and rain. I was immediately greated with a smile. I was asked what I needed done an was able to pull inside which was nice to keep me out of the wind and rain. I was immediately greated with a smile. I was asked what I needed done and given a price and a expected delivery time of an hour which was not bad because I had no appointment and there was cars ahead of me. Once he got all my information I was taken to the waiting room. The waiting room was amazing. I was offered free cookies and juices or water. The chocolate chip cookies were so good, they were fresh out of the oven. They had a nice big screen tv to watch with nice with comfy chairs to sit in. The other suprise was if I felt like I needed a massage they had 4 massage chairs that were available to use while I waited. They also had a nice quite business room I could use if I had work I needed to do while I waited. Even though I was given a wait time of 1 hour, my car was done in 45 min. David came and got me. He went over the bill and explained everything very well. He went over the complete inspection leting me know how my filters were doing and how all the fluids in my car were. I got all of this done for under $30. When I got to my car I was shocked to find not only was my car washed but the front floor mates had been vacuumed. I definitley will go back and will tell all my friends about it to. More
