This is a really GREAT place to take your car. Not only did I purchase my vehicle from Toyota of Tampa Bay on Fletcher avenue, I always bring it back there for service. In my last couple times I needed my car serviced, I had the pleasure of having "Joe" - I shall refer to him as my "personal service tech" - he's great. Coming back with updates not just once, but several times. I love the theater upstairs, that was a nice surprise and I'm glad they have Wifi, it helps me entertain myself the short time I am there. They are fast, efficient, thorough and reasonable with the quality I can always count on. Thank you Toyota of Tampa Bay on Fletcher Avenue for being there when I need you. More
I was an customer of another local Toyota dealer for the past 5 years. When I started to have problems with my Toyota Prius after a service/recall experience that was UNACCEPTABLE to say the least, I called past 5 years. When I started to have problems with my Toyota Prius after a service/recall experience that was UNACCEPTABLE to say the least, I called and spoke with Service Rep Joe Trozzo from service department. Let me just say, Joe Trozzo was patient and informative from the very beginning. He asked I bring in the vehicle to see why I was possibly getting bad MPG all of a sudden. I stopped by the next day and he reviewed my prior Toyota Service Bill and had a service mechanic look over my entire car. While I waited, he gave me a tour of the BEAUTIFUL dealership which is BEYOND customer friendly and I could not wait to bring my 11 yr old to experience the next service with me. Once complete, both Joe and the Mechanic came and spoke with me about issues they had found where I had been OVERCHARGED $100 to remove a part that should have been free since it needed to be removed for the recall. Joe did not charge me for the service check and gave me suggestions on how to keep track of the mileage so he could review the data if I chose to come back to the dealership. If I chose to come back? Without pressuring me to do so he GAINED A NEW DEVOTED CUSTOMER. I have since come back to see Joe for an oil change and he remembered my MPG issue which we reviewed together. During this visit, he continually kept me abreast of the ETA of my vehicle since it was a busy Saturday for the service department. My daughter and I enjoyed the theater area, kid zone and food bar. It was time well spent getting a vehicle serviced. WHO CAN SAY THAT??? I am lucky to have found such an HONEST service rep and will continue to use him for all my service needs as well as refer all my friends and family not only to Joe but to utilize the dealership!! More

My return to purchase can only be described as coming back to the best dealership in my own hometown of Tampa. Jon Maffai is Business Sales Manager and without him I would not have reached my goals during my purchases. He consistently worked within my parameters to get us into all our vehicles. Sales in Tom Jones was great as well. Came back for a service for some rims being switched out which resulted in our warning lights coming on. Scheduled the appointment and was very well taken care of. My new truck was washed, vaccumed and top off with gas. Aaron Carr in service is a true professional and great representation for Toyota. My experience was so good I personally told his boss about it. As a result of all around good experience I hope to may a lease deal for my sons first new Tacoma Pre-runner. This dealership does not have it's act together at all. I took my 2009 Toyota Highlander in for a simple oil change and asked them to run it through the car wash. When they brought it back to me, th all. I took my 2009 Toyota Highlander in for a simple oil change and asked them to run it through the car wash. When they brought it back to me, they had charged me for a car wash but I didn't get one. Next, they finally ran it through their car was and brought it out....with paint scraped off my back bumper and the bumper itself hanging off my car! They fixed this problem the next week and I decided to give them a second chance. Big mistake! I got two tires replaced with an alignment and had to make an appointment for 3:00pm. They were told what car it was and what tires would be needed the day before. The next day they didn't have the tires and it took 3.5 hours with an appointment for 3pm to get 2 tires put on the car....but it gets much worse. The bill was $613. This week we discovered that they charged our debit card twice. $1226 for two tires?!? They don't want to refund the money and are telling us to contact the bank. Well, we did. The bank says they ran the card once as debit and once as credit and they got paid twice. Don't ever go here! There is no excuse for that behavior....and toyota- you are not fast, friendly, fair or fun. More
Horrible service and products at this dealership. On my last visit I SCHEDULED an appt at 3:00pm for an alignment and check engine light read. I was told the wait time would be approx an hour, hour and a half max. I left toyota at 7:30PM (4 and 1/2 hours later). As I drove my car home I realized it was pulling to the right. I wasted my time and my moeny all for nothing. I cam in for a simple alignment and not even that was done correctly. Ironically my toyota battery that was purchased a year prior stopped working 1 week later. That was my second battery from totyota in the past 2 and 1/2 years. It was a prorated battery and toyota told me that unless i went to the same dealership i would not get reimbursed. Seriously? Would you go to the same dealership to get a "new battery" every year. I refuse to. If they are not going to give me a decent working product and actually providing service to my car; then why should i waste my time going there. Honestly I am not a complainer, but with the disrespect they showed me I figured other people should be aware. Avoid this dealership- coupons and all; it is not worth it. More
The collision staff is completely disrespectful if you question them on the vehicle being repaired. Took vehicle back 7 times for the same repair and nothing was replaced. WORSE part is the vehicle was repaired and put back together with missing bolts and screws. MISSING bolts and screws. What is this a background mechanic shop? Well they act like it. No problem cashing your check then holding your vehicle for 3 weeks. This is LARRY Morgan Auto Groups baby. Now I completely understand why this company makes $440,000,000 a year. Cash the insurance checks and deductible money quick and do half rate work with insulting service. Do yourself a favor and NOT shop at TOYOTA of TAMPA BAY or the Collision Center!!! Toyota of Tampa Bays collision center and service dept are above the rest. They fixed my PT Cruiser after I so kindly rearended a fellow driver. there were some issues with my motor mounts and AC that too are above the rest. I would definetely refer a friend and return if I need my car repaired again. I hope to be able to afford to purchase new from them one day.
