terrible service department In July 2014, I purchased a brand new Toyota Corolla Sport and since day one I have had issues with the driver side window. when I call to schedule an In July 2014, I purchased a brand new Toyota Corolla Sport and since day one I have had issues with the driver side window. when I call to schedule an appointment to bring my car in I was told that my car was under warranty and the window could absolutely be fixed. I returned to the dealership on several occasions to have the window fixed. .it was never fixed. And on my forth and final visit to this dealership, I was told that my window gasket had "worn out" and was not fixable under my warranty even though my car is less than 12 months old!! The service professionals ( or "unprofessionals" -I'll call them) told me that "ALL car window gaskets eventually wear out" and that this would eventually happen to ALL of the windows in my BRAND NEW COROLLA SPORT. I am certain that I was being lied to by the service department that was either 1. too cheap to fix my vehicle or 2. did not possess the know-how or expertise to fix the window so they decided to tell me that my car window gaskets had worn out, even though I've had several Toyota vehicles prior to this one and the window gaskets did not wear out I'm extremely disappointed by the service, or lack of, I received today at this dealership. I will never step foot at Toyota of Tampa Bay on Fletcher Ave ever again...I'd advise you to do the same!! More

Clean work area and customer lounge., Toyota of Tampa Bay goes out of their way to make us comfortable while waiting for out vehicle. I originally bought my 2001 Toyota Corolla Sport from this dealership when they were under a different name and management. I have stuck with the service department ever since and now my vehicle has ove this dealership when they were under a different name and management. I have stuck with the service department ever since and now my vehicle has over 220,000 miles on it. The attitude, professionalism, and caring nature of the excellent staff at Toyota of Tampa Bay (TOTB) keeps me coming back. I've rarely encountered a problem, and when I have, the friendly staff was quick to respond and took care of me like I expected them to. That quality is rare to find but awesome to experience when it does happen. I believe it goes beyond training and customer service skills. I can notice the level of interest and care each service advisor shows to each customer, and I appreciate and applaud that. My service advisor, Jay Nigro, is the third advisor I've had since I've been with TOTB. The previous two were excellent as well, but I must commend and compliment Mr. Nigro for how well he has treated me and my vehicle. He often goes above and beyond what I'd expect and probably what his employer expects or dictates, and I am impressed by his efforts. He takes the time to listen to me, take good notes, follow up with the techs that worked on my vehicle, and present me with estimates and reviews of service before I return to pay and pick up my vehicle. He is good about returning calls and leaving messages; again, something I very much appreciate. I am glad I ended up with Jay but can honestly say that any of the other service advisors would most likely perform with as much pride and dedication to their jobs as Jay has shown, Now give him a raise! Honorable mention goes to Nicholas Drummond as well, who has either taken care of me when Jay was out or busy, or has assisted Jay with my needs. He too gives off a positive, friendly feeling that customers instantly detect and appreciate. I am glad to know Nick too, and hope he continues with his excellent customer service. Many times a business doesn't or won't realize the power of good customer service, and how customers watch, listen, learn from not only their own experiences, but by being around other customers and talking with them about their experiences with the business. There is a lot of influence in the receiving end of courtesy, so much so that a customer might be swayed by information they received from other customers and not from the business. So to have a good courtesy base sending out the right message and good vibes I believe is critical for good business. Thank you for allowing me to participate in this survey and to give recognition and praise to Jay and Nick, and all of your other wonderful staff. I appreciate you all. More
