We found Toyota of Tampa Bay to be honest and easy to work with on the purchase of our new Sequoia. We previously visited a dealership in Wesley Chapel, Fl and left without making the purchase there b/c work with on the purchase of our new Sequoia. We previously visited a dealership in Wesley Chapel, Fl and left without making the purchase there b/c they were rude and dishonest. It was refreshing to find a salesman (Matthew Mackowiak) that was willing to address our needs and treat us with respect throughout the buying process. They were able to locate the color and style we wanted within a week. In addition, David Farner in financing was pleasant, efficient, and informative during the final phase of the purchase. The entire sales team conducted themselves professionally and did not resort to high pressure sales tactics to make the sale. I highly recommend Toyota of Tampa Bay for their sales/finance department and their service department (which I used previously with my Toyota 4-Runner). More
I wanted a no-nonsense negotiation and sale in the purchase of a Camry for my son. Randall Fitch met and exceeded my expectations. It held my son understand what was available and we discussed prici purchase of a Camry for my son. Randall Fitch met and exceeded my expectations. It held my son understand what was available and we discussed pricing and financing up-front. All in all we were thrilled with the experience and very satisfied with the price and financing. More
From the beginning the sales person was very interested in listening to my needs, after that he gave me the proper guidance and information to make a good choice in selecting the car for my family. Went to Stadium Toyota first to purchase a Prius for my wife. Would have bought there but the price that we agreed too wasn't the price on the paperwork at end. Immediately went over to Toyota of Tampa B wife. Would have bought there but the price that we agreed too wasn't the price on the paperwork at end. Immediately went over to Toyota of Tampa Bay, showed the sales manager what we agreed to and they beat the price I agreed with at Stadium by a $1000 dollars. Adrian Johnson is an exceptional sales person who doesn't attack you and makes you feel at home. Buying a car is usually a terrible experience. This was not the case at Toyota of Tampa Bay. I sincerely applaud their effort and would recommend them to anyone. They did an exceptional job. Dennis Wyatt More

I'm one of many people who would rather have a root canal than go through the car-buying ordeal. I had been doing research on the 2010 Prius for more than a year and knew it was the car I wanted so I spent a than go through the car-buying ordeal. I had been doing research on the 2010 Prius for more than a year and knew it was the car I wanted so I spent a lot of time on Edmunds.com educating myself about price, options, etc. Going into the car-buying process I was very well informed. Nevertheless, I was originally going to work with a buyer's agent as I was led to believe it would be hassle free and I'd get a better deal. However, he was not responding very promptly to my inquiries so I began my search online, asking for Internet quotes. I received about 4 quotes and decided to make Toyota of Tampa Bay my first stop where I was fortunate enough to be assisted by Ric DeLeary. We arrived at a price that I felt was fair, with a reasonable valuation of my trade-in. However, I was committed to checking out other deals, just to make sure I was getting the most aggressive price possible. I visited another dealer in the afternoon but upon returning home and double checking other dealer prices, I was confident I didn't need to look any further than Toyota of Tampa Bay. I immediately contacted Ric, confirmed details of the offer, and told him we had a deal. Here's why I chose Toyota of Tampa Bay: 1. Ric was congenial, knowledgeable, upfront with me and reasonable to negotiate with. He respected my desire to continue my search but made sure he gave me his best deal, all without making me feel pressured to buy. 2. I felt like a mainstream customer, not an "internet customer" shuffled off to some obscure side office away from the main dealership. 3. Solid reputation for service and obvious attention to customer care after the sale. 4. Ric was patient with the many questions I emailed to him and I appreciated that. 5. Jose Lodeiro was the first auto finance manager I've dealt with who didn't make me feel like I was doing battle with a shady lender. I kept expecting the "gotcha" but it never came. He did a good job explaining the inevitable add on's that happen at closing but respected my decisions without pressuring me. 6. I was introduced to the service staff and the process of follow-up service appointments. It's clear care of customers is important and the friendly staff made me feel as if they appreciated my business. 7. The cleanest service area I've ever seen reflects pride in what they do - impressive. I think the fact that I was an informed buyer certainly helped with the car buying process but I would not hesitate to recommend Toyota of Tampa Bay to friends. More
Rick was very friendly on the phone as well as in person, as were all of the other people at the dealership that we met. Rick gave the very best deal that he could on the phone as soon as I talked with him. as were all of the other people at the dealership that we met. Rick gave the very best deal that he could on the phone as soon as I talked with him. Jose worked out the paperwork for the financing, and the dealership handled the title work and transfer of plates with the new registration even though it was out of state. Thank you for the wonderful experience. More
This was my first experience w/internet purchase, and my 9th or 10th Toyota. Ric and the rest of the crew really went out of their way to put me in MY car. The normal buying experience was much less of an 9th or 10th Toyota. Ric and the rest of the crew really went out of their way to put me in MY car. The normal buying experience was much less of an "ordeal" than all previous new car buying experiences. They provided me a test drive and pricing. Then allowed me time to go home and absorb all their information and compare to my other offers. When I called and advised that I was ready to buy, they had the auto ready for me at the time we agreed upon, AND my first oil change maintenance appointment is already set. This dealership has already been servicing my old (1999) Avalon, and this department has been as good or better than all others I have used since I purchased my first NEW car in Tampa in 1964. My transaction with Ric Deleary was very comfortable, and I believe my experience with Toyota of Tampa Bay will continue to be very satisfactory. More
My first experience with Toyota of Tampa Bay was three years ago. The experience was beyond what I expected or had ever received with other dealerships. I vowed then that I would return and I let the sa years ago. The experience was beyond what I expected or had ever received with other dealerships. I vowed then that I would return and I let the salesman know I would be back in three years. I was excited when it was time for a new car and the salesman (Dave Farner) was still with the dealership and we scheduled a time and date to meet. Not only did I receive the same excellent treatment but the young salesman had been promoted since we last met but still took the time to sale me my car. When I buy a car I know what I am looking for before I drive on the lot. Purchasing a car should be a good experience and the last two cars I bought from Toyota of Tampa Bay has been just that and I will be back in another three years. I must also admit that during the three years I owned my Corolla I used the service department at Toyota of Tampa Bay. Much like the sales department the experience with service department is excellent as well. I cannot imagine going anywhere else in the Tampa Bay area to buy a car when Toyota of Tampa Bay has the best sales and service a person could ever imagine. More
Mr Murray was extremely helpful and accomodating from the second he approached us. He had extensive knowledge on the particular vehicle we were interested and had a friendly and relaxed attitude during the second he approached us. He had extensive knowledge on the particular vehicle we were interested and had a friendly and relaxed attitude during the whole process. He seemed invested in helping us getting the right car for us, instead of just making a sale. It was our first new car and the experience was fantastic. We highly recommend this dealer and Mr. Murray as your salesman. More
