I originally bought my 2001 Toyota Corolla Sport from this dealership when they were under a different name and management. I have stuck with the service department ever since and now my vehicle has ove this dealership when they were under a different name and management. I have stuck with the service department ever since and now my vehicle has over 220,000 miles on it. The attitude, professionalism, and caring nature of the excellent staff at Toyota of Tampa Bay (TOTB) keeps me coming back. I've rarely encountered a problem, and when I have, the friendly staff was quick to respond and took care of me like I expected them to. That quality is rare to find but awesome to experience when it does happen. I believe it goes beyond training and customer service skills. I can notice the level of interest and care each service advisor shows to each customer, and I appreciate and applaud that. My service advisor, Jay Nigro, is the third advisor I've had since I've been with TOTB. The previous two were excellent as well, but I must commend and compliment Mr. Nigro for how well he has treated me and my vehicle. He often goes above and beyond what I'd expect and probably what his employer expects or dictates, and I am impressed by his efforts. He takes the time to listen to me, take good notes, follow up with the techs that worked on my vehicle, and present me with estimates and reviews of service before I return to pay and pick up my vehicle. He is good about returning calls and leaving messages; again, something I very much appreciate. I am glad I ended up with Jay but can honestly say that any of the other service advisors would most likely perform with as much pride and dedication to their jobs as Jay has shown, Now give him a raise! Honorable mention goes to Nicholas Drummond as well, who has either taken care of me when Jay was out or busy, or has assisted Jay with my needs. He too gives off a positive, friendly feeling that customers instantly detect and appreciate. I am glad to know Nick too, and hope he continues with his excellent customer service. Many times a business doesn't or won't realize the power of good customer service, and how customers watch, listen, learn from not only their own experiences, but by being around other customers and talking with them about their experiences with the business. There is a lot of influence in the receiving end of courtesy, so much so that a customer might be swayed by information they received from other customers and not from the business. So to have a good courtesy base sending out the right message and good vibes I believe is critical for good business. Thank you for allowing me to participate in this survey and to give recognition and praise to Jay and Nick, and all of your other wonderful staff. I appreciate you all. More
over all satisfied with the job but 89 dollars for brake pads was over charging as they should of been more like 40 and the car was not cleaned when I pick it up with the service plastic and dirty ripped pa pads was over charging as they should of been more like 40 and the car was not cleaned when I pick it up with the service plastic and dirty ripped paper on the floor and wax marking on the window which is should of not been done with a 542 dollar brake job along with a 14.95 oil change as well) More

The very next day the battery was dead. While I did see a battery charger on the car I was told the battery was good. When I had the battery tested it was very bad. I was sent a check for the amount of the battery. Inside of 30 days the traction control started to have problems. The transmission started acting up. Then vibrations in the front left tire. Thank God I bought a warranty I was told because the transmission had to be worked on. The front tired started to shred I was told they were bad for a while. I still have no molding for the window so water gets in the trunk. This dealership is a joke. The salesman even said our detailers our so good we could charge hundreds of dollars OMG I had to stop at the gas station on the way home the windows where so filthy when I took a damp cloth across anything in the morning it was all filth no one ever cleaned the car no inspection was ever done. NEVER buy a car after sundown. I was not able to see many things I could of in the day light. This deanship will lie to your face More
Delbert is alway friendly and helpful when I visit. I don't trust most mechanics/dealerships but I trust Delbert I never feel like he's trying to hustle me and he's very honest. They were smiling, not pushy, no pressure, and open to our negotiations. Got my Honda at a good price. Sales person John Irving, was great, wonderful personality, sense of humor, very knowledgeable of our negotiations. Got my Honda at a good price. William Tracey gave great customer service. Thanks to him I was able to leave with a brand new car. It was worth the 6 hour wait because at the end we are all winners!!!! My husband and I went in to just see if TOTB could, 1. take our old Prius in and pay off our loan which was just above the value of the car, and 2. put a new Prius in our hands without adding more than $2 take our old Prius in and pay off our loan which was just above the value of the car, and 2. put a new Prius in our hands without adding more than $20-$25 dollars a month to our old payment. We were going to check out two other Toyota dealerships as well. Alan totally surprised us by doing just what we wanted. He was very personable to work with. Got the job done with no hitches. We didn't have to spend a moment of our time negotiating with the finance manager or anyone else. He knew what we could pay and that was it. We wanted to replace our 2006 red Prius with a new red Prius with most of the features that we enjoyed with the old one. We drove home in our new Prius even though I had not brought my check book, therefore could not write a check. They trusted us to bring it in the next day at our convenience. Alan was very professional, knowledgeable, and accommodating. He obviously likes what he does and he does it well. His whole team seemed to work together for the benefit of the customer. It was a very positive experience. And, Yes, we are going to go to their new Toyota orientation dinner. Should we live long enough to buy another car, we will call on Alan. More
