We have had Toyota's for many years and have walked out of many dealerhips because the salepeople and the finance managers were so rude. This was a very pleasant experience - actually our second wih this dealership but certainly will not be our last! Thank you Bruno and Rocky for a very pleasant experience. And the car rides like a dream!!!!! Sincerely, Francine and Marvin Lapidus More
I have purchased over 20 cars to date and have yet to experience such a professional team of employees. Currently I own 2 Toyota's and lease one other, and have no plans to alter my choice of manufacture experience such a professional team of employees. Currently I own 2 Toyota's and lease one other, and have no plans to alter my choice of manufacture. Specifically due in point to my most recent experience at Toyota of Tampa Bay. I initially placed a request for purchase via the internet, and was amazed at the speed of response. Toyota of Tampa Bay not only was the first responder, but the most accurate and detail oriented. Rocky and Jason were the only sales representatives, of the 6 or 7 that responded, that were willing to work to earn the business, additionally the only ones that actually read my request. I was sent quotes for every version of vehicle from competing dealerships, except for the vehicle I submitted. I sincerely appreciated the patience Jason demonstrated explaining the details, and amenities of the new vehicle to my wife. He was very accommodating, respectful, and patient. The same is true for the finance department. Normally I dread the thought of having to under go the finance process due to previous experiences, however I can not say enough about Dave Farner. He made the most unpleasant of experiences very easy and stress free. I can not say enough about my experience and will most definitely consider Toyota of Tampa Bay my only stop in the future. Kudos to Rocky, Jason, and Dave for their professionalism, attention to detail, and customer service. More
I had a great experience buying a new 2010 Prius from Jason Hunter at Toyota of Tampa Bay. He answered all my questions about the car, pricing and the financing by email and phone, so everything was all Jason Hunter at Toyota of Tampa Bay. He answered all my questions about the car, pricing and the financing by email and phone, so everything was all set without any additional negotiating or extra hidden costs when I went to the dealership to pick up the car. Lack of responsiveness to original price request. Confused vehicle price quote - Highlander Sport with data sheet for SE (explained during visit as Sport and SE are both referred to as "Sport")! O Confused vehicle price quote - Highlander Sport with data sheet for SE (explained during visit as Sport and SE are both referred to as "Sport")! Only dealer EVER that has told me they were more willing to deal on a vehicle they did not have on the lot rather than one we test drove that had been around three months! Despite lower invoice and exactly the same hold backs they wanted to charge us more. I think it was leading to a "well we can get you in this vehicle now and save you the drive back - tell you what we'll do it for the same price" but I'm cynical! Typical "nice guy then closer" tactic - and the talk down as if you're two years old tactic to push towards purchase. "We're going away to think about it - can we have our trade keys" was heard as "you need a moment to think - why do you need your keys"? Finally got a set of keys that weren't ours "oh so sorry" Basically all the usual tricks that internet shopping is supposed to eliminate - we did buy but not here! More
Two weeks ago, I went to the internet and visited their website; I made an inquiry form their website about a new Toyota Camry. Matthew Mackowiak contacted me promptly and provided me with the information website; I made an inquiry form their website about a new Toyota Camry. Matthew Mackowiak contacted me promptly and provided me with the information that I was inquiring about. I went to the dealership to test drive the car, and Matthew provided me with an out the door price that was excellent; I knew because I have shopped around at other Toyota dealers in the area. At the end of my visit, Matthew introduced me to his manager, Eddie Rivera, to see if Eddie can reduce the price a little more. After a little discussion, I told both of them that I will need time to consider the offer. Both Matthew and Eddie were very patient, pleasant and did not try to pressure me into making decision right there and then. They told me that they understand, and they are there to help me if I need more help in making the decision easier. They are absolute professionals who treat customers with respect, dignity and patience. They make car buying experience a pleasant one; after all, the customer is the one spending tens of thousands of dollars. We deserve to be treated with respect and dignity; I went to some other dealers who treated me like an inmate being interrogated and bombarded with high pressure tactics. Fortunately, I went to Toyota of Tampa Bay and met Matthew and Eddie. I went back to their dealership yesterday and bought a Toyota Camry. Matthew checked my car in great detail to make sure everything is to my complete satisfaction, and answered all my questions and requests very patiently. I admitted to him that I am very picky and detail oriented; he told me that he completely understand; Matthew is such a professional!! He listens and goes the extra miles to make sure I am satisfied with everything. Their financial person, David "Griff" Griffith, was great as well; he made the paper work processing smooth and presented all information clearly, including additional services, and patiently without any high pressure tactics or trickery to sell me any additional services. This has been the best car buying experience I have had. I highly recommend you to give Matthew and Eddie a try if you are looking for a new Toyota! I want to recommend good businesses, especially good people like these, when I found one because it is harder and harder nowadays to find one! It is having good people like these that makes a company successful and makes people want to buy here. More
I went to Tampa Bay Toyota to purchase a Corolla. I had gone to Stadium first to get a price and then brought my newspaper ad with triple cash back. When I got there, I found out EVERY SINGLE Corolla there gone to Stadium first to get a price and then brought my newspaper ad with triple cash back. When I got there, I found out EVERY SINGLE Corolla there had two packages one for 500 and another for 700. That made the car $1200 more then the other toyota stores I went to. DON"T BUY YOUR CAR HERE THIS PLACE IS A RIP OFF. I bought mine at Stadium it was alot less. More
