Poor service Takes forever to get anything done. Last visit was for oil change only and it took 1 1/2 hrs. Then when I start to leave my dash was open with cabin a Takes forever to get anything done. Another visit was to have tires balanced it took 2 hrs. I just don't see coming back again. More

New Tacoma Purchase I parked on the lot, walked into the showroom, told Jeff Smith, Vaden's General Manager, that I was interested in a new Tacoma and features I was look I parked on the lot, walked into the showroom, told Jeff Smith, Vaden's General Manager, that I was interested in a new Tacoma and features I was looking for. Jeff quickly glanced at his inventory list and said he had a truck that met my exact specifications and referred me to Marty Hamlet who took me to the truck. He could not have been more friendly and helpful. Marty looked over my trade and told me what it would take to make the deal. I made a reasonable counter offer, and we shook hands. Brooke Catalan, Finance Manager, expertly handled the paper work which took only about 10 minutes. In a total of one and a half hours from driving onto the lot, I was driving my new fire engine red (Barcelona Red Metallic) Tacoma off the lot and on my way to dinner. In more than five decades of buying new and pre-owned vehicles this was by far the smoothest and best experience that I have ever had. Vaden's personnel made it quite enjoyable. If you are considering a new vehicle, even different make, you would do very well to reconsider for a Toyota and make the drive to Sylacauga, Al. for the lower prices, lower taxes, and the great people at Vaden. More
Service on make of vehicle other than Toyota I drove into the service lane at Vaden Toyota without an appointment and met service writer Kandie Bowman. I asked if they could "work me in" for a service on my Ford Escape, and with a great smile, she said, "Sure." She escorted me to the comfortable and clean waiting area where there were complementary, snacks, water, coffee, and buttered popcorn. Twenty minutes later she returned with a checklist that suggested several items that needed addressed but did not "push" or insist they be addressed "right then" as is fairly common in the auto repair industry. I gave the okay to go ahead with the oil and filters and a couple of other critical items but deferred other items that could be done later. Another twenty minutes and I was on my way after settling the bill that was at least 10% less than I had come to expect at other facilities in the Sylacauga area. Thanks Kandie and Vaden. More
