Unfortunately, on 11-16-22, a negative review on the dealership was submitted today but was done in error. Last Friday I almost bought a new Tacoma there. What stopped me was sales manager Scot and salesman Edgar lying to me and being dishonest with me. The price was great but everything else was not. I sat there for 2hrs after I agreed to buy the truck. I filled out the credit app and I have an 840 credit score. My monthly income was 5441 a month. Scot allegedly accidentally put 9441 in the computer, so then it didn’t match my application. So, Edgar comes to me and tells me he made a mistake on my application and asked me if I would sign a blank one. I told him no I would not sign a blank one. So then he comes back with the original application and asked me to sign it and he had scribbled out my correct monthly income and put 9441. So they were trying to deceive me once again. So I told them the deal was off and asked for my key back to the Corolla I was gonna trade in. Edgar gave it to me and I left. I live in Goodyear. As soon as I got home I realized they still had the title and registration to my Corolla. I called and Scot stayed after closing so I could pick up the title and registration. Scot admitted what they were trying to do cuz they didn’t think I would come back the next morning to by the truck. I definitely would have. A mistake was made and they couldn’t reach TFS until the next day, which I understand. I totally would have come back. But since they were trying to get over on me, I decided to hold off on buying anything. So today I was on your website and they have my car listed for sale. I called and spoke with somebody and they said they would have the used car sales manager take it down. I Have no idea why my car is listed for sale by the dealership, but it should not be. I’m not looking for anyone to get in any kind of trouble. They just need to be honest with people. I’m a Marine Corps Veteran and Scot and I had a great conversation about his son serving in the Navy. He and Edgar were making my experience great and then all the sudden it was Terrible, and now my car is listed for sale on their website. Same VIN and everything. I’ve reached out to the general manager Larry Tabler bit he has not responded. We’ve purchased our last 2 Toyotas from your dealership because of the staff. I was planning on purchasing my 16 years old son’s first car from there next month, but I won’t be purchasing a vehicle there for a while. More
Terrible, horrible, 0% customer satisfaction at this dealership. Never trust their representative and servicer manager. They will lie to you and make promises that they will not keep. For example: Manager promised the customer will ONLY charge just the part, not the labor. However, they will still charge you at the end of the service. ONLY want the money, 0% Customer satisfaction. This is why because of you guys I can't trust any of the dealerships anymore. You completely failed your mission which is taking care of you customer and understanding what you are going through. Toyota of Surprise deserves nothing, but recognition of distrust. PLEASE. I don't recommend this place anymore. More
Called for price to exchange transmission fluid and was quoted $325. Called Toyota of Avondale and was quoted $299. Used vehicle bought from Toyota and in less than 2 weeks I had it breakdown on me. I took it to the dealership and they quoted me $1800 to fix. I replaced the part myself that they said was faulty and when I had it breakdown on me. I took it to the dealership and they quoted me $1800 to fix. Set appointment to see car, salesman acted as if he knew nothing about it! Told us then car had been taken off the "for sale" inventory and was being sent to auction. Sales team was excellent. However their service team is worthless. I bought a vehicle, and 5 days later it broke down on us. I called the service advisor told them what happen. The first thing they said was have to see if it is under warranty. I can get a rental car on my dime if I want to. They will make you feel like a crook. They will sale you a car all day long but if it needs to be repair under warranty you are screwed. I even talked to the service manager Mitch is his name he hung up on me. Also talked to Eddie the sales manager he was going to dig in and see what happen. He took my number down and never called me back. There is no customer support or loyalty to from this dealership. Don't buy here!!! And if you do please take my warning and don't buy all the extra crap they try to sell you after they sold the car to you.. This happened to me twice now BOTH TIMES AT DEALERSHIPS BE and don't buy all the extra crap they try to sell you after they sold the car to you.. This happened to me twice now BOTH TIMES AT DEALERSHIPS BELONGING TO PENSKE. just thought I'd mention that cuz I think it's interesting how it's consistent. so I was sold these interior exterior packages that are supposed to add protection. And long story short I think it's really convenient for the dealership how at both dealerships including Toyota of Surprise here, I paid for the package and the service department never got the work order. Upon calling I was told this and asked to bring in the letter that says that the dealership owes me this item in question. xxxx CRAP that at both dealerships the finance department fails to give the service department the work order yet the finance department never failed to take my money. LAUGHING ALL THE WAY TO THE BANK. I HATE DEALERSHIPS MAN. Or they call them "STEALERSHIPS" for a reason. See how that works, stealing your money?? I work out of town on long jobs and kind of let some time pass ended up selling the car and never got the interior exterior package applied to it And was never able to get a refund either so I paid for it like I said. And the dealership rob me for that money and laughed all the way to the bank. I made sure on the second vehicle that I purchased this year to have the service done but it was a joke at best and that's why I'm saying just skip their extra products that they're going to pile on "after " you already made the deal on the car. Look at my review for Tempe Honda. I would stay away from there too. Jokers I know you got a lot of lights to keep on in those dealerships but y'all shouldn't be trying to steal people's money!!! More
