The dealership is good professional and do quality work, however, Junior, the person that checked me out was rude. I was late coming in for my appt, 16 minutes. I admitted to being late. Junior gave my appt however, Junior, the person that checked me out was rude. I was late coming in for my appt, 16 minutes. I admitted to being late. Junior gave my appt to another person. I asked him why he didn’t give me a call to see if I was on my way, It’s an hour drive to the dealership from my house. He said it wasn’t a Toyota problem, he also said if I didn’t like the service at Toyota of Surprise I could go someplace else. I told him I didn’t want him to be my Service associate. There was more to the conversation I can tell you if needed. This was my second time dealing with him regsrding service of my truck. Both times I found him to be a very condescending, More
Purchased 2 new vehicles and one used vehicle here within 2 years. Sales person was great. Used vehicle deal was at 7% though the whole deal... entered finance to sign everything and the rate was now almost 2 years. Sales person was great. Used vehicle deal was at 7% though the whole deal... entered finance to sign everything and the rate was now almost 8%! They told me they'd take .5% off if I signed up for GAP coverage. I asked if I could cancel the GAP 2 weeks after the sale and receive my full $1200 back, and was told YES. Had to drive back to the dealership to sign the form, and was hassled to keep it. I insisted that I wanted to cancel. Finally presented the form an HOUR after arriving. I signed it, and they gave me a copy. Was told 4-6 weeks to see the refund to my loan. 5 weeks went by so I called for status. Along with a barrage of excuses, I was told the form was not processed yet! They blamed this on Toyota, and supposedly "re-submitted" the form. They said I'd have to wait another 6 weeks! This was complete xx and negated all of the good we had experienced before. On top of this, when i bought the used car from them, I expressed some reservation and asked about possibly trading it back in if I didn't like it. I was told they'd gladly take it back minus the fees if I bought something else from them. After 2 weeks I decided I needed an SUV and asked about getting one from them. I put under 400 miles on my car, and they wanted to give me 6k less than I bought it for! Is this how you treat customers who bought two brand new highlanders, and a 31k used car in 2 years?? I'm done. More
Took my 2022 Highlander in due to ac taking along time to cool down. I was told that a rock pierced my condenser yet it wasn't showing any leaks just low in coolant. I was also told that there was no antif cool down. I was told that a rock pierced my condenser yet it wasn't showing any leaks just low in coolant. I was also told that there was no antifreeze smell. Call a different toyota location and explained situation, they told me if a rock pierced my condenser that my air would not blow cool at all and there would be no coolant in the system due to the pressurized system. Don't go to this location in surprise az they have horrible technicians that don't know what they are talking about. More
The service department is terrible. They have requested work that was not needed. How do I know this? After their recommendations and outrageous prices, I took my car to two garages They have requested work that was not needed. How do I know this? After their recommendations and outrageous prices, I took my car to two garages that I used to go to before buying a car at Toyota Surprise. Both garages showed me that I absolutely did not need the work performed. When I spoke to them about it, they said I was in error. More

Terrible service department. I needed another key fob for my 4 runner. I got a quote before I went. I had to wait 2 hours while they programmed it. They finally finished and I needed another key fob for my 4 runner. I got a quote before I went. I had to wait 2 hours while they programmed it. They finally finished and gave me the new fob but took the manual key out of the fob and said I had to pay an additional $15 if I want it. How do you order a fob and then take parts out of it??? Charged me $159 for the fob, $95 for programming and a ridiculous fee of $18.75 for environmental disposal fee that they wouldn’t take off the bill. There was nothing to dispose of. This is exactly why customers don’t use dealerships for service. Total rip off. More
I took my 2019 Toyota Tundra into Toyota of Surprise for an oil change on 11-9-2022 mileage 29289, on 12-25-2022 Mileage now 29,517 drove it into town and back and when I drove into my garage I noticed a L an oil change on 11-9-2022 mileage 29289, on 12-25-2022 Mileage now 29,517 drove it into town and back and when I drove into my garage I noticed a LARGE oil spot on the floor, after crawling under the pickup to check where the oil was leaking from, found that it was coming from the oil plug, and checked plug and it was loose. After tightening up the drain plug I checked the oil and it was a quart and a half low. This is what I call xxxx POOR SERVICE!!! More
After seeing a car on the dealer website they wanted to add on items I didn't want or ask for. I asked for their best price and they actually raised the price more than the advertised internet price. Unfortunately, on 11-16-22, a negative review on the dealership was submitted today but was done in error. This review should be voided since the dealership/sales people did nothing wrong and were in f dealership was submitted today but was done in error. This review should be voided since the dealership/sales people did nothing wrong and were in fact, accurate in their figures. If the dealership would like to totally delete the 11-16-22 review, they have my permission. I would recommend perspective buyers visit Toyota of Surprise if considering a vehicle purchase. Now giving a 5-star rating. More
Last Friday I almost bought a new Tacoma there. What stopped me was sales manager Scot and salesman Edgar lying to me and being dishonest with me. The price was great but everything else was not. I What stopped me was sales manager Scot and salesman Edgar lying to me and being dishonest with me. The price was great but everything else was not. I sat there for 2hrs after I agreed to buy the truck. I filled out the credit app and I have an 840 credit score. My monthly income was 5441 a month. Scot allegedly accidentally put 9441 in the computer, so then it didn’t match my application. So, Edgar comes to me and tells me he made a mistake on my application and asked me if I would sign a blank one. I told him no I would not sign a blank one. So then he comes back with the original application and asked me to sign it and he had scribbled out my correct monthly income and put 9441. So they were trying to deceive me once again. So I told them the deal was off and asked for my key back to the Corolla I was gonna trade in. Edgar gave it to me and I left. I live in Goodyear. As soon as I got home I realized they still had the title and registration to my Corolla. I called and Scot stayed after closing so I could pick up the title and registration. Scot admitted what they were trying to do cuz they didn’t think I would come back the next morning to by the truck. I definitely would have. A mistake was made and they couldn’t reach TFS until the next day, which I understand. I totally would have come back. But since they were trying to get over on me, I decided to hold off on buying anything. So today I was on your website and they have my car listed for sale. I called and spoke with somebody and they said they would have the used car sales manager take it down. I Have no idea why my car is listed for sale by the dealership, but it should not be. I’m not looking for anyone to get in any kind of trouble. They just need to be honest with people. I’m a Marine Corps Veteran and Scot and I had a great conversation about his son serving in the Navy. He and Edgar were making my experience great and then all the sudden it was Terrible, and now my car is listed for sale on their website. Same VIN and everything. I’ve reached out to the general manager Larry Tabler bit he has not responded. We’ve purchased our last 2 Toyotas from your dealership because of the staff. I was planning on purchasing my 16 years old son’s first car from there next month, but I won’t be purchasing a vehicle there for a while. More
