Quality of work was rated 3 solely because of the quality of OFFICE paperwork, not because of anything the sales force did or did not do. (The sales force would be rated a 5.) The reason for the 3 rating is the following - on returning home with our new Avalon Hybrid and signing up for our "Safety Connect" service, we discovered the car's VIN # had been incorrectly transferred by the office staff onto BOTH the Odometer Disclosure Statement and the Buyer's Order, despite this number showing correctly on the temporary tag and the temporary registration card. This is the first time we have ever run into this type of problem when purchasing a vehicle - the importance of checking this information cannot be over-emphasized. We are still waiting to see if this will result in any issues getting the car titled and registered in the state of New Jersey. More
