On Saturday May 14th 2011, Mr. Willie Torres called me and asked me what type of vehicle that I was looking for; I stated that I need a very safe car preferbly a SUV because I work in the mountains and th and asked me what type of vehicle that I was looking for; I stated that I need a very safe car preferbly a SUV because I work in the mountains and the road get really bad in the winter. Mr. Torres stated that he had the perfect vehicle for me that was low on gas, safe,very reliable and affordable. He introduce me to a Toyota Rav4. Mr. Torres listened to all of my concerns and fitted me with this perfect vehicle; which fits my everyday needs. He treated me as if I was a family member of his. This car is a great match for me. I was given a price and service on phone right away. The dealership worked with me on finding the right car and did not pressure me to make a decision which helped me to make my own decision. They quoted the same price that was presented in the write up when it was time to pay the bill. Every document was prepared before I went in to sign my name and give the payment. I appreciated the efficiency and immediate calls back. Eric Goodwin came to pick me up for the purchase which I appreciated immensely since I did not yet have a vehicle. He is a very nice, kind, honest man and I did not feel like at any point the dealers were just trying to take advantage of my ignorance about cars!! So, I definitely give them an excellent...esp. when it also required extra work to prepare the car for lic. in NJ from PA. Yay!!!! Keep up the good work! Kevin was great to work with. low pressure sales person who accommodated my requirements exactly. With the exception of some computer hold ups the purchase was very quick and the everyone involved was ver who accommodated my requirements exactly. Matt Raymond was a wonderful salesperson to work with! We had just come from an unpleasant experience with another car dealership in our area where the sales staff was so aggressive to the point of being bul had just come from an unpleasant experience with another car dealership in our area where the sales staff was so aggressive to the point of being bullying. We left that dealership quickly because of their pit-bull style sales approach and headed over to Halterman's Toyota-Scion. What a breath of fresh air Matt Raymond was! He was helpful, informative, respectful and gave us our space when we asked for it, yet remained diligent and near and accessible to us when we were ready. He was gave us lots of information on the various models we looked at, took us on test drives so we could get a good feel for the vehicles, clearly explained the warrantees and service plans, etc. He really let us know what a good, strong and reliable company/brand Toyota is. But most importantly, it was largely due to his manner and approach that we felt comfortable enough to stay with Halterman's for our car purchase, and not continue on to other dealers. IT IS IMPORTANT FOR A SALESPERSON TO BE ABLE TO READ WHAT A CUSTOMER WANTS AND NEEDS FROM THEM, AND MATT WAS A TRUE PRO. We will highly recommend Halterman's to anyone looking to make a car purchase. We also appreaciate the professionalism and friendliness of Mark (Layton) and Alex who also helped make the whole experience a positive one. I was looking for a 2011 camry I knew what I wanted as I I was looking for a 2011 camry I knew what I wanted as I had researched it and knew it was the care for me. we shopped around for prices and to get I was looking for a 2011 camry I knew what I wanted as I had researched it and knew it was the care for me. we shopped around for prices and to get exactly what I wanted in the car, I went online and spoke to Eric D. and he gave me a good price that brought me into the store, my husband and I came and spoke to Eric G. and he was very knowledgeble and personable and make us comfortable right away. He answered our questions and took his time with us. After we ordered the car I wanted he kept me up to date as to what was going on and when we could come and get it. I picked it up later in the day and he never made us feel like we were inconveniencing him, the owner even came out and spoke to us, very nice touch. We love our car so far and if we ever need another vehicle will come to Haltermans first and speak to Eric. Thank you! More
I walked in to the dealership and was approached by Mark. I asked him "can I get a new Toyota for about 225 a month with little down"? He said "yes we have something that may work". He showed me a 3 door hatchback Yaris that I liked at first sight. At some point I was introduced to Kevin. I told them I would be back the next day to finish what I started. The next morning around 11am I was on my way to Haltermans when Kevin called and asked I if I was still coming and I said "as a matter of fact I'm on my way and will be there in 5 minutes". When I arrived they were taking the car out of the showroom for me to drive. Imagine that? After 30 years of buying used cars I was buying one on a low budget from the showroom floor. Wow! Kevin helped me with all my questions and gave me plenty of time to make my decisions as the process progressed, while skipping his own lunch for me. Thanks Kevin, I never felt pressured or coerced. I bought the car, I'm happy. -Thanks! More
