My wife and I wanted to trade up from a lease to a financed vehicle. After several attempts at other dealers - Rayprice Ford and Abbeloff Toyota - we decided on Halterman; best decision ever. As soon as we walked in the front door, we were greeted with genuine smiles. The sales person immediately knew what we wanted and did not attempt to discourage our decision. Instead he encouraged our decision and executed. Not only did he help us with our upgrade but he was able to reduce our monthly payments which is a plus. The General Manager closed the deal and put us in our new vehicle faster than any dealer I've visited. The Finance department did not attempt to force "extended warranties" nor did he haggle us with other products. I will definitely visit this dealer again when my wife decides to upgrade in the future. Very fair price on my trade in. Gave me a great deal on new 2010 model. The gentleman who sold me the car was very patient with all of my questions and answered them with explanations if necessary. Everyone I came into contact with at Halterman's was friendly and welcoming. The sales manager, I felt, as well as the consultant I worked with were not only knowledgable but went out of there way to ge friendly and welcoming. They also did not talk to me as if I didn't know what was going on - an experience I've had with other car dealerships. In fact, the sales consultant came in on his day off because it was more convieniant for me. I did not feel rushed or pushed to make a decision I wasn't comfortable with simply to make a sale.
