I came in prepared to buy a used truck and the salesperson and finance department made it easy for me. I had my own pre-approved financing and Toyota beat it. Great Experience. Started shopping through internet and found the truck I was looking for at Toyota of Southern MD. Service department is unfriendly and useless. My brand new vehicle had a problem the day I drove it off the lot and the issue has still not been resolved, resulting in me not being able to drive my vehicl new vehicle had a problem the day I drove it off the lot and the issue has still not been resolved, resulting in me not being able to drive my vehicle. Wayne Cook of Toyota/Hyundai Southern Maryland took care of me for my purchase of a used car. First of all I had searched the internet for all of Maryland for a Buick under $10,000. There were any number of me for my purchase of a used car. First of all I had searched the internet for all of Maryland for a Buick under $10,000. There were any number all over the state, but the dealership that had the one in particular I was iterested in was 4 miles from me. The reason being was that they had a Buick LeSabre 2005 with less than 80,000 miles for under $10,000. I contacted them via e-mail. Wayne Cook immediately got back to me and was patient with my delays in getting over to see the car. When I got there, the car was impeccable-it looked like brand new. I already own a 2005 Buick LeSabre and have had other Buicks. Even though I had a house in foreclosure in Florida Wayne tried to get financing. Well, we couldn't but I was prepared to pay outright. The car drove like new! since I have a Florida Driver's License and still have another house in Florida, Wayne checked to see if it would be more advantageous to register in FL or MD. It came back through Wayne that it would cost me less to register in MD. The experience was exceptionally professional and friendly. I would without hesitation recommend Wayne and this dealership to anyone. P.S. I am a Director of Materials Management at St. Mary's Hospital and purchase for a living. I can’t speak to the sales team, but the service department is the worst. They were never outright rude or anything, just incompetent, useless, and unwilling to help. They were about to charge me ~1000 dollars to replace a throw-out bearing that they had replaced a year previous. After I brought up this point, they mentioned a TSB was in the works, estimated 2 months, and they would contact me when it was out. I never received a call from them, and I called them some 6 months later when I found out that a TSB had come out and had been out for a few months, while I am driving around a Truck that sounds awful due to this issue. I dropped it off on a Sunday night, to be picked up on Monday. I was given an excuse for 4 DAYS STRAIGHT on why I could not pick up my truck, and did without till Friday, no easy feat. At no point was I offered a rental car, and when I requested one, they refused. Upon picking up my truck, the Temperature Gauge/Overhead console was not functioning. I called them on my way home, and they refused to pay to have the part replace, even though it was completely functional when I dropped it off. I spoke with the service manager and the Toyota experience and neither seemed at all willing to help. I never had a pleasant experience with them and will never go back. More

I have used this Toyota dealership twice now in the last 4 years. They are by far the best experience I have ever had in leasing/purchasing a vehicle! I will not go anywhere else! I was treated in an unprofessional manner and felt very disrespected. A first time customer, any customer, should not be treated the was I was. Especially a repeat customer.
