Working with Wayne Cook was very easy and comfortable, no pressure at all. The deal was smooth and easy. The price was fair for both parties. I requested a quote online and was given a call the next day to come by. When I got there a sale representative named Eric met me as he knew me when I was looking at the Hyundai dealership which is owned by day to come by. When I got there a sale representative named Eric met me as he knew me when I was looking at the Hyundai dealership which is owned by the same owner(Hyundai and Toyota are next door to each other). I told him I was given a call to stop by today as they has a 2012 Toyota Camry XLE/hybrid available for me. He nothing about this and wasted my time for 45 minutes. Eventually, he disappeared and I was met by Jim C. I sent another 1 hour with Jim, reminded him I wanted to make a deal today and I am pre-approved from my bank. I left without nothing, not even an offer sheet. They never made me an offer! Jim C. knew me when I was looking at a Toyota Venza a couple of days earlier. During the Venza deal he was friendly and seemed knowledgeable. When dealing with me for a Camry, I got a hesitate answers, not straight forward answers and a lack of knowledge of pricing on for a 2012 Camry. He never even broke out the pricing sheet because the computers were down again. Let me remind you that I had a pre-approved check from my bank, I knew my bottom line price and wanted to make a deal that day. Well, I was quoted online the next day, MSRP $35,645 for a 2012 Toyota XLE/Hybrid w/nav & leather seats, I also had $889 in accessories. This is also the same price at Toyota.com. I bought a 2012 Toyota Camry XLE/hybrid w/nav & leather seat with 120 miles the next day from Prince Frederick, MD Bayside Toyota Dealer for $35,301 that included sales tax, tags, document fees, my $889 in accessories/install fees, and a Toyota Platinum Warranty for 7yrs/100,000 mile warranty for less than their online quote which was ONLY FOR THE CAR PRICE with accessories. I highly recommended the Bayside Toyota Dealership in Prince Frederick, MD. Who also has a great service and parts department. Who wouldn't want to save over $3000 for the same car and make a deal happen in under 60 minutes! More
This was by far the easiest car buying event in my life. This is the 12th car purchase in my life and the sales team at this dealership made it totally hassle free. No pressure sales tactics, let me come and go with out a hassle until I made up my mind. They actually encouraged me to go look at other name brand vehicles before making my mind up. Price negotiation was even painless, but it does make me wonder if I should have tried to go to a lower price....lol. They color vehicle that we wanted was not in stock, but the dealership/salesman worked with us to locate a vehicle to the exact options we were looking for. Typcially there is a charge for this service, but I was not charged. Not sure if that is standard practice here, but I didn't question it. I would recommend Toyota of Southern Maryland to any of my family and friends shopping for a new car. More
David was extremely professional, friendly, and quick, helping me get in and out of the door as efficiently as possible. He understood my car buying needs right away, and with minimal fuss produced a veh helping me get in and out of the door as efficiently as possible. There was no doubt in my mind at that point that I had the car I wanted. The deal I got I felt was very fair, and he treated me with respect and integrity throughout the process. His customer service skills are excellent and his knowledge of the process thorough. I would recommend Toyota of Southern Maryland to other buyers, and Mr. Bannis in particular! More
David was very professional, yet down to earth. I came in just wanting to test drive two Toyota models, but he asked about my key priorities and assured me he could meet my needs as well as find a vehicle in just wanting to test drive two Toyota models, but he asked about my key priorities and assured me he could meet my needs as well as find a vehicle I would be hapyy with. He worked very quickly, listened carefully to what I wanted, and immediately brought a car around that hit every one of my diverse, preferred features. I drove it briefly and thought I was sold, but David continued to show me some of the other features I was getting that I hadn't expected or noticed, encouraging me to drive it down the road. It was late in the day (7:00-9:00), yet he showed no sign of wanting to hurry me, nor did the other folks I worked with. Myron was helping David, sincerely assisting where he could to facilitate the sale; I enjoyed "shooting the breeze" with him. He seemed very down to earth as well, and just an all around great person. I wouln't hesitate to invite him to my home! I was trading in my Camry, and while at first David was hesitant to quote a favorable value, in the end all numbers worked very well for me and I felt they were competitive with what I could find elsewhere. Once my trade was evaluated, David quickly presented a monthly payment that was RIGHT on (well, $2 short of) my highest comfortable monthy payment! (Do you guys have bugs in your offices? ;-) I was so pleased that I didn't have to do further negotiating. Wayne was a pleasure to work with, efficient, professional and friendly, very quickly finalizing the paperwork and outlining my warranty options but not pushing them. Mike came out at the end, introducing himself and assuring that I was satisfied with my experience. I felt so very well cared for by the entire staff; I haven't felt that important in a long while! The only thing missing was the full body massage and cup of herbal tea! ;-) Seriously, a great experience all around, great folks with not a shred of the stereotypical "car salesman" attitude or experience. I will come back for all services and refer everyone I know is in the market for a Toyota. Thanks so much!!! More

Our experience with Toyota of Southern Maryland and David Banis was wonderful! We received an excellent deal on our trade in. The process of buying a new car can get very trying when dealing with prices and making sure a person gets the best solution for their needs. I felt that Wayne understood what I was looking for in a payment and was able to show me exactly what to look at. No time was wasted in the process, that to me is huge as my time is very valuable. I would send any of my friends and or family to see Wayne and his team, because I feel honesty was provided along with great service.
