I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere appreciation to Toyota of Somerset, Mr. Othel Turpin and Mr. Stacy Dykes. Having just moved into the area of Somerset and looking to purc sincere appreciation to Toyota of Somerset, Mr. Othel Turpin and Mr. Stacy Dykes. Having just moved into the area of Somerset and looking to purchase an automobile I was at a loss whom to turn to. While doing business with Lookout Marine Sales of Somerset and in one of our conversation I mentioned that I was looking for a good used car from a dealer that was trustworthy. Through a telephone call to Mr. Turpin I was told that I would be well taken care of and when my business was finished with Lookout Marine Sales to stop by Toyota of Somerset. Upon my arriving I was greeted by Mr. Dykes and after the initial greetings and the first five minutes of our conversation I had the feeling that yes I was at the right dealership. Mr. Dykes was not only polite, professional and fully understood my needs but I also felt that I had found someone who would be honest with me and throughtout our conversation I was very comfortable talking and dealing with Mr. Dykes. Within a short period of time we found a vehicle that not only suited my needs but was within what I wanted to spend. While sitting in Mr. xxxx's office and finishing up the required paperwork Mr. Turpin walked in and asked if everything was alright to which I expressed my satisfaction with Toyota of Somerset. Mr. Dykes not only made sure all the paperwork was handled correctly but also called my insurance company USAA where I purchased the required insurance over the phone. Within an hour the vehicle was mine and I was driving off the dealer's lot. Not only am I completely satisfied with the vehicle but with the outstanding service I received from Mr. Dykes and Toyota of Somerset. I would recommend this dealer and Mr. Dykes to anyone who is looking to purchase a new or used automobile. We have always had a very good relationship with Toyota of Somerset, but we left them a couple of years ago, and are glad to be back. Not only did Lloyd Johnson and Jeff Hall work with us, but there was another gentleman who was just wonderful and we can't remember his name. He is the one who explains the final paperwork (gap insurance, etc). He was very kind and conscientious. So, when you get a GREAT vehicle like we did and you're treated so kindly, who could ask for more? We will highly recommend Toyota of Somerset. More
Overall experience was good. The reason I didn't rate it great was the simple fact that we had to come inside to look for a salesperson the first day we came to look at a car on the lot. I was always treated with the upmost respect. Everyone of the salesmen was very nice and there was always one there to open the door and greet you as you came in. There was so much difference between you all the salesmen was very nice and there was always one there to open the door and greet you as you came in. There was so much difference between you all and the one in Russell County. You guys should be giving seminars on sales etiquette. You have a very nice facility and your people make it even nicer. I have always been extremely nervous when it comes to buying a car. It is a huge purchase and over the years I have had my dealing with less that respectable salesmen. I had the pleasure to work with J buying a car. It is a huge purchase and over the years I have had my dealing with less that respectable salesmen. I had the pleasure to work with Jason Coston and I couldnt have been happier with the experience. He truly took the time with no detail left out. He was a pleasant and it was a GREAT experience to work with him. He took the time to explain any and all questions I had whether they were serious or minor. I didnt feel rushed and the atmosphere was extremely pleasant. I was very pleased with the fact that Jason had his personal cell number on his card and I was able to reach him for all the concerns I had prior to coming into the store. I appreciate so much that he was honest and upfront and really and truly went above and beyond my expectations. If anyone that reads this is in the market for a Toyota new or used then Jason Coston of Toyota of Somerset is definitely the person you should contact. I truly feel like I will work with him for as many vehicles as I purchase. The whole nerve-racking experience of buying a car is completely wiped out of my mind thanks to Jason and the whole Toyota of Somerset staff that I dealt with. Thanks so much. We had done alot of looking and research before going to Toyota of Somerset.We was working with Jason and had no intension of purchasing a vehicle that day just looking again getting a price but the way Jas Toyota of Somerset.We was working with Jason and had no intension of purchasing a vehicle that day just looking again getting a price but the way Jason treated us and everything he showed us and done for us that other dealerships had not done at all we had to purchase the new Carolla.Jason took the time to show us everything on the vehicle answer all our questions that others didn't knowing up front that we told him we wasn't buying today. I guess we lied about that but only because of the way we was treated and the info we was givin. Hands down we will do our business with Jason and Toyota of Somerset from now on . Even the finace officer was great to work with not pushy in any way . Truly the best car buying exsperience we have had. I will send all family and friends to them. More
I have now had 3 poor experiences with the service department, 4 if I count the time they left my oil cap off when they changed my auto's oil. The other 2 poor services dealt with the engine light bei department, 4 if I count the time they left my oil cap off when they changed my auto's oil. The other 2 poor services dealt with the engine light being on for which I paid $80.00 to have repaired and it is still on. Most recent I brought my auto in for service last week & I'll have to say the auto was in worse shape when it left than it was when it arrived. I had asked to have the back-up light repaired and an oil change. The serviceman indicated the light was repaired, he said "the bulb was out". The next night I drove my auto and found the gearshift light was out. As it was working the night before I believe the service department did something to cause the light to go out. Tonight, 1/9/12, I asked a friend to see if my backup lights are both working now. The light is still out so the bulb surely was not changed. I can only hope I got the oil change. More
