Dan Duncan was my salesperson and was a very nice man with no pressure selling. I haven't had a salesperson of his integrity before! I have owned over 10 vehicles in my lifetime and I have been to several dealerships, but I can tell you this was the best experience I have ever had when buying a car. I have owned both used and new and t been to several dealerships, but I can tell you this was the best experience I have ever had when buying a car. I have owned both used and new and this time we purchased a used car for our son and we had driven over sixty miles to Toyota of Somerset, but it was worth every mile. Jeff was extremely kind and we enjoyed talking with him. We were also pleased with the gentleman who handled our finances. We like the dealership atmosphere and the privacy of the offices, as many other dealerships have the open consept which I feel is very intimidating. Privacy is of most importance. Our experience was wonderful and we will be looking for another vehicle to purchase in a year or less and I am very interested in going to Somerset for our purchase again if they should have something we are interested in. Very Pleased. More
Jason lived up to his promise "to deliver you with a simple, honest, and hassle free vehicle purchase experience." He was not only very knowledgeable about the cars we looked at, but also very patient in answering a lot of questions, some more than once. He never pressured us to buy anything, never set a time limit on negotiations such as "this offer is only good for now and will not apply if you do not accept it now." It was really the most relaxed, non-pressure purchase of new vehicle we have experienced in over fifty years of joint car ownership. The car was delivered in beautiful condition with basic driving information explained and extra help was given to us for the techno aspects. Jason has made himself available to us to answer any questions we might have and we have already used his services. He has gone well above and beyond the norm in providing service with great patience, respect and honesty. All of the personnel with which we had contact were pleasant, helpful and courteous. We look forward to the treatment we will receive from the Service Department in the future. We highly recommend this dealership and especially Jason Coston to any and all people looking for a new or used automobile. I had no work done on the car, so that rating does not apply. The dealership was clean, the staff friendly and attentive, which is pretty much true of all car dealerships. I felt the price I negotiated was fair, I got the Prius I wanted and the trade-in price I negotiated was also fair. I was not pressured to buy anything I did not want or need, which I appreciated, and all the details of the purchase transaction were explained clearly. I regret missing the zero percent financing. Although I did initiate the transaction on the last day of that offer from Toyota, it was not completed until the following day. I was impressed by the safety ratings for the car and by the reliability ratings and the ratings I have read in Consumer Reports. The gas mileage on my first long trip was much better than I am used to and the car was very comfortable on the long haul. My only complaint about the Prius is that the wind and road noise levels are higher than I am used to and the noise level does detract from the pleasure of driving the car. In all other respects, though, the Prius meets or exceeds my expectations. I will be coming by to get some help understanding how to use Entune and possibly some other tech features. Jason knows his business and was courteous and professional. Lloyd was very friendly and the finance manager I dealt with was pleasant as well. As far as the delivery of the car itself, it was clean, except for the windshield, which still shows markings from whatever was attached to it, it was full of gas and Jason explained all of the key features I needed to get underway. I would certainly be comfortable recommending both the Toyota Prius and the Toyota of Somerset dealership. More
My experience with Toyota of Somerset was GREAT! I had gone to another Toyota dealership only to find it closed when Toyota was advertising the biggest Labor Day Sale. Needs to offer more for trades instead of low balling, and quit with ran around people doesn't have time for that! Give low price first time. ALWAYS! Over all the customer service was good due to the fact because of needing to get a different vehicle while they were on sale the sales and finance was still there 30 mins after when I called and waited for us to come back and didn't leave till we had our new corolla. Thats the above and beyond. But the comeing back with different offers instead of the lowest the first time is why I rated it good. I could have got a better deal if I wanted to have drove a hour out of my way but choice not to. More
