Initial service on my new RAV4; Saturday AM appointment was handled quickly and professionally, but also thoroughly (not rushed through, even though it was only the 1K mile check). This dealer is a model for the other locals to follow. The sales and service staff are friendly and well informed, and go all out to put the customer at ease. Every time we have taken in one of our two toyotas for service we get ripped off. They always find extra work that needs to be done at a highly inflated price. An acceleration problem that should never have happened on a six year old camry was originally quoted at over a thousand dollars to fix, they did find a used part and charged us less but the problem should have been taken care of from the beginning. I had one of the cars in five times for brake issues and the issue was never resolved. They just kept charging more money each time, saying something else needed to be done and then insisting the brake issue was resolved when it wasn't. They replaced the back windshield on the camry and it rattles every time the car goes over 50 miles per hour. They are very polite but the politeness just extends to words not service. If they can squeeze an extra penny out of you they will do it. An extra couple of hundred is more likely. Next time one of the cars get recalled I will drive somewhere else to have it serviced. It seems as if the dealership gets trained in how to make additional monies off of the customers. When my two young adult children take the cars in for service the estimates just get higher and higher. They basically use scare tactics to insure that the money will be spent. No more Toyotas from Toyota of Scranton. More

I had body work done on my new car and they never covered I had body work done on my new car and they never covered the windows or the black trim around my windows when they painted and over spray got all ov I had body work done on my new car and they never covered the windows or the black trim around my windows when they painted and over spray got all over the windows so I went back and they removed the overspray. Now I notice that they used steel wool and got the black trim around my doors and windows all scratched. I'm never going to buy a new car from them or recommend them to others so if anyone needs body work done stay away . They need to improve their quality of work or hire the right people for the job.
