I must say, I was a little nervous about taking my car back to the dealership for work. The wait times are always long and the problems with my car were never really explained by the mechanic. I was alway back to the dealership for work. The wait times are always long and the problems with my car were never really explained by the mechanic. I was always just given a list of repairs that always seemed inflated. This time around was so much different! A few months ago I took the car in because it was making some strange noises on the highway (I waited a while before sending this because I wanted to see if the noise came back, as it usually does after a week or so). The mechanic, Mike, came out to talk to me about the problem. He explained things in terms I understood! He was very kind and patient with me, and I felt very comfortable leaving the car in his hands. When I got the car back and drove it home, the noise was gone. After a few weeks, the noise didn't return and I haven't had any other issues with it since. Honestly, I was thinking about trading it in, but it runs so well now I think I'll keep it for quite a while. Mike's professionalism and customer service skills are second to none! I have never been treated so well in all my dealings with this dealership or any other, for that matter. He is a great asset to this dealership and any time I need an oil change or whatever else, I will ask for him! Thanks Mike! More
Had our 2011 blue RAV4 "detailed," both exterior and interior; normal NEPA wear / tear and several winters' weather effects. Every time I visit Toyota Scion of Scranton my service is fantastic. My recent visit was for a recall on my Rav4. I scheduled an appointment for a mandatory recal repair on my 2009 Rav4. I arrived a few minutes early for my appointment and my car was taken right in. I asked how long the appointment would take and was on my 2009 Rav4. I arrived a few minutes early for my appointment and my car was taken right in. I asked how long the appointment would take and was told an hour or less. I was also told an hour or less when I had called over a week prior to make the appointment. The man who initially began my paperwork was surly and abrupt. I took a seat in the waiting room after he asked if I would be waiting. Again- I asked how long the work would take and I was told AGAIN less than an hour. Three hours and 15 minutes later this man came looking for me. He claimed he had me paged but I was standing three feet from him near the counter when he was brought my keys. He did not page me. I asked why the work took so long. He ignored me. I asked again, I told him I wanted to know if their was an issue with my car I should be concerned about. He told me that no work had been done. None. My car didn't need to recall work. My car was fine. 3 HOURS AND FIFTEEN MINUTES for NOTHING? So again, I asked why it took so long, and he told me to have a nice day. I assume this is because I wasn't a paying customer? Why should that matter? It shouldn't. More

I had just purchased my new vehicle 2 weeks ago but they did not have enough time to put on the accessories I wanted. So I made an appointment to have my remote starter installed, they provided a loaner car did not have enough time to put on the accessories I wanted.
