I purchased my car from Toyota of Scranton a few years ago and since then have had it serviced there exclusively. The prices are extremely reasonable especially for the quality of work performed. The waiting area is comfortable and even has fireplaces and a Dunkin Donuts in it. When I schedule an appointment the people on the phone are very helpful and can usually fit me in on one of my very few days off. I have been very pleased with my experience to date and would recommend them to anyone. More

I needed an oil change on my Tundra before taking my wife and kids on vacation. It was last minute but they were able to squeeze me in. I bring my car to Toyota of Scranton it's a great experience. Kevin is my service advisor and he is a wealth of knowledge and always very pleasant. He always has helpful car care tips. My Highlander is always washed and the service is both prompt and done right the first time. My sales professional when purchasing the vehicle last year was Alissa and whenever I run into her we have a nice conversation and she still cares a year after the sale. She addressed them and made me feel important. It was that personal touch and service with a smile that was lacking initially. I was very satisfied with my service experience at Toyota of Scranton. I was especially impressed with Mike Fedorisin who took care of me. He was very courteous and professional. He was genuinely concerned with the problem I was having with my Scion. It was not an easy fix. However he kept me informed on a daily basis and assured me the problem would be taken care of. He even arranged for us to have a rental car. Mike is truly an asset to your company and a reflection of your concern and dedication to your customers. This time I was proactive and tried to call to make sure they had the part, as the first time they did not. I called service, figuring that by this time the part was in the department an hour before my appt, but was transferred to parts, who then transferred me again supposedly to service but it was someone's voicemail, at which I left a message with my phone number, that I wanted to know whether part was there before I headed out for appt. Since I had no luck and it was very close to when I needed to leave, I then called Ashley, who had made my appt when the part was first to be in, and left voicemail there also. Luckily and thankfully she called me back quickly-even though it was her DAY OFF! but she had stopped in, and noticed my message and kindly called anyway..she is to be commended again, going over and above to help me. I arrived somewhat early, and this time did what I was supposed to and drove up to and into the garage where a rep directed me where to park., and went inside. I waited about 10 minutes as a woman brushed past me several times-really felt I was in the way but I needed the support of standing next to the counter. Once again Mike was working and as he came in from garage she shouted across to him "take this customer, I'm still busy" and told me "go over there" so I did. I was glad to see he was the rep again; he is another employee going above and beyond and is to be commended. After I told him I was back to get the recall part installed and signed papers, I waited in the waiting room quite longer than I expected. Seems that even though I had been there less than two weeks ago and they went through the entire car, they found it necessary to do so again, and he was sent out from the mechanic with the filter in hand to show me again, and a list of other notes about issues same as last visit, except the air filter as I had replaced that myself 12 vs $40. Also then I found out they were just installing the part now after they had been going through the car all this time so far. He estimated 45 min. and checked back with me again saying 5 min. more, and in about a half hour finally I was able to leave, as I could not afford the suggested additional work, having come there to do a recall which was no charge. Granted it is a nice waiting room, and they have Dunkin Donuts which I am sure some appreciated but it was too much walking for me so I wasn't able to have that perk. When I was going into my car, I cleared out the paper mat as it had caused problems driving after my last visit, and a rep in the garage came by and very kindly took it to throw away; I was grateful to save those steps. The number ratings above being overall and general, I would like to say that Ashley, Mike, and the rep who helped me clean out the mat certainly rate a 5 for Customer Service, Friendliness, and Overall Experience, and their work brought the ratings up for the rest of the crew. ---->I would have liked to add this to my previous review from March 27 but it is not up on the site for some reason.
