Battery Issue My sister and I went in she had been severely ill for two months, in the process her battery on her car ran down and was not charging any longer. Best Experience with a Toyota Service Center I've Ever Had I've owned a variety of Toyota's for the past 35 years, and exclusively used only Toyota Service Centers throughout the country for their maintenance. Toyota of Santa Fe's Service department was absolutely outstanding with a very complicated and involved issue (created of my own doing - no fault of Toyota craftsmanship) with a 2004 Prius. Joe Sanchez kept tabs on the process, guided me through both new and used parts purchases. oversaw the project and had the patience of a saint when dealing with my travel and auto idiosyncrasies. The entire team was always friendly and helpful, and Joe Sanchez "went the extra mile" for me more than once, always with a smile. This was no question the very best experience I've ever had at a Toyota Service Center ever, anywhere, and I've used probably more than a dozen of them around the country. Highly recommend without hesitation. More

They had the car done in 90 minutes -- including full tire rotation, balance and an alignment. More

In fact, as a recent transplant from California, I have been having a hard time adjusting to customer service in New Mexico, and dealing with Mario literally turned my impression of Santa Fe around and made me decide to stay in New Mexico and stick it out. Many male service personnel at other dealerships are patronizing to female customers, but Mario walked me through every step in detail and never treated me differently. He was so kind, patient, polite, and helpful that I am planning to buy all my future vehicles from this dealership since this is the caliber of employee that they hire. Way to go, Mario--you are a salesman without even knowing it! More

A few items showed up on the 32 point inspection(which I am truly thankful they did!) . They explained things thoroughly and, did all the work for which they had part available - quickly and with a smile. Since one of the items on the list was a battery I figured I would save time and, just buy it and replace it myself. I went online and chose the battery from what I thought was their service department - it was actually from a place a few doors down. I told the guys my intent and they showed me why I should maybe consider having them do it. There was quite a bit of corrosion on the positive cable some of which had leaked below. They were not pushing me just simply explaining things I was unaware of. Even though the battery was purchased elsewhere, they gladly did the work. I agreed. I walked over to the battery place and carried the battery back. Upon entering the Toyota parking lot one of the sales men noticed I was carrying a battery and quickly dropped everything to carry it for me(they are a bit heavier than I realized :)) As I sit waiting for the repairs to be completed I have to say I feel both safe and taken care of ~ THANKS guys. More
