Mr. Montoya (Tiyita) The vehicle you purchased is the highest demand and lowest supply vehicle that Toyota currently makes. Across the country New Tacoma’s are sold prior to being delivered to the dealerships. The 2016 Toyota Tacoma you purchased used had 3,628 miles on it. Brand new it came with a 5 year, 60k mile power train factory warranty. We certified your 2016 Tacoma and that greatly increased the power train warranty. Your 2016 Tacoma now has a 7 year, 100K mile warranty. That extra 2 years and 40k miles does come at a cost. In cases such as yours when the used vehicle is purchased with almost no miles and Certified, It has a better warranty than it came with brand new. It did cost more than new because it has 2 years and 40kmiles better warranty than new. Other factors that were above the selling price include tax, title, registration and license plate. In addition you made a purchase in the Finance department of GAP insurance. All the documentation you read and signed at the time of your purchase is fully transparent and full disclosure. I have reviewed the documents and took note that you signed and or initialed every single document. When you read and signed all your documents you obviously had no issues and understood the value of the certification. I know you spoke to several managers and indicated that you fully understood the numbers negotiated at the time of purchase. I’m truly sorry that you are now unhappy with your purchase.
