Brian and Team were friendly and efficient and completed my scheduled maintenance. While my car could definitely use some TLC, they didn't try to sell me anything, but fully informed me of what they noticed my scheduled maintenance. I recently drove from out of town to Toyota of Santa Fe on 12/2/21 to inquire about a vehicle. I met with the salesperson Anthony. I needed the evening to think about my purchase. On Friday 12/3/21 I reach on 12/2/21 to inquire about a vehicle. I met with the salesperson Anthony. I needed the evening to think about my purchase. On Friday 12/3/21 I reached out to my salesperson to begin the process of purchasing the vehicle. However, the salesperson was on his day off and was unable to assist until Saturday. Saturday 12/4/21 I spoke with my salesperson and the finance department. I was approved and was asked to put down a $500 deposit. I gave my card information to them and then received a call back a few minutes later that the truck had been sold. This was of concern to me as I had already been in the process of purchasing the vehicle. I called asking to speak with a manager and was transferred to a gentleman named Kirk who stated he would call me right back after he looked into things. He did not call. I tried calling him back and left a message. Later in the day the salesperson stated the other individuals were still attempting to qualify but had yet to for the truck and asked if I was still interested. I was interested but he stated he would need to get back to me on Monday. On Monday my salesperson reported the truck sold. I called again asking to speak with a manager and left a message asking for the general manager to call me. As of 12/7/21 I still have not heard back. It is very unfortunate the way the transaction was handled as well as the avoidance of communication with a customer. I had high expectations of Toyota but unfortunately, they fell short with the customer service and their ability to convey information. As a customer who was working on purchasing a vehicle, I would not expect to have a vehicle be sold to another customer in the middle of my transaction. as of 12/7/21 @ 12pm I still had no response from Management.
