Tom Funderburk was outstanding to work with. He was extremely patient as I was trying to decide between a hybrid or non-hybrid Avalon. At no point in the process did I feel any pressure from him. On one visit, I examined the differences in trunk space, and on a subsequent visit, he took me on a test drive. For me personally, it was a difficult to decide between the trunk space on the non-hybrid vs. the outstanding gas mileage on the hybrid. Ultimately I went with the hybrid. During the car buying process, he was extremely responsive and ultimately we were able to do everything over the phone and via email. I received a very competitive price and ended up with almost the exact configuration that I was looking for, and he nailed it for all the elements that were most important to me. The whole purchase process was painless. Tom was extremely respectful of my time, asking for as much information and documentation ahead of time so that when I did go back to the dealership to pick up my vehicle, my wait time was minimized. There is really nothing that I was disappointed by and that is due in large part to Tom's professionalism. More
We originally went to Toyota of Rock Hill to take a look at a used 2009 Toyota Camry I found online. When I arrived at Toyota of Rock Hill, I was greeted by Jody Sexton. Jody talked with me a little to ge at a used 2009 Toyota Camry I found online. When I arrived at Toyota of Rock Hill, I was greeted by Jody Sexton. Jody talked with me a little to get better acquainted with me and the style of the vehicle we were in the market for before going to get the car I came to look at, which I definitely appreciated. His outlook on being a salesman was wonderul. We test drove that car and after driving it, we decided that we weren't sold on that particular car 100%. Jody then took us around to look at a few other cars until we found the one we loved. Once finding "the" car, Jody was very helpful and educated on all of the "extras" that the car was equipped with. Jody wasn't just trying to sell us any vehicle and he made sure we were fully satisified and also talked to us on a personal level, which I loved. He then made the process very easy for us, which was appreciated because the car buying process is usually extensive and stressful. I'm happy to say that we were very very pleased with the customer service we received and the overall experience. The dealership is very nice and everyone is very courteous. Jody was an excellent salesman and I recommend that anyone in the market for a new car give him a visit. I'm certain he'll do his very best to assist you and everything in his power to do it on your terms or the terms most beneficial to you. More
I was in the market for a new car but was not sure what I wanted. I went to Toyota of Rock Hill and met with Mr. Bill Patterson. He was the most professional even when I told him when I got there that I wa wanted. I went to Toyota of Rock Hill and met with Mr. Bill Patterson. He was the most professional even when I told him when I got there that I was not buying before I drove all the cars on my list.. That did NOT stop him from being kind and courteous to me and my husband. He showed me all the features on the Camry and was very professional in demonstrating these features. After leaving we went to the Honda dealership next door. I told the salesperson the same thing I told Mr. Patterson. I was lucky that the Honda salesperson even talked to us. I had to beg to drive a Accord. Even though my husband and I decided on another brand of car, I will highly recommend Mr. Bill Patterson and Toyota of Rock Hill to anyone that is interested in a Toyota. My husband and I are both in sales and have been for over 25 years. We know how to treat our customers, and appreciate the professionalism of Mr. Bill Patterson. More
I Absolutely would stay away from this dealership. Brandon Harris was the finance guy who talked us into buying an extended warranty and lied to us about what it covered. He told us it was a "concierge service" where we dropped our key off at the front desk and had our oil changed, tires rotated, etc....and that was all covered under one of the warranties. The second warranty we bought covered (according to Brandon Harris) covered the 30,000 mile/ 60,000 mile and 90,000 mile tune ups FREE of cost to us......along with any mechanical issues that arise. For this reason we agreed to purchase the rather costly warranties. Imagine our surprise when we showed up for our 30,000 mile tuneup thinking it was completely paid for. It was NOT. None of what the finance guy told us was true. We contacted David Hart. He apologized. Said Brandon was no longer with the dealership for reasons such as that. No offer to help us cancel the warranties, etc. So we have been trying for SIX months to get the warranty cancelled. You have to go through the dealership to do this....and it takes 90 days? or so I am told. Every time we call the dealership we are told a different story....the check will be mailed to you....the check will be mailed to the dealership....the check will be desposited in your checking account....today we finally found out one of the warranties was cancelled but was applied to our loan balance....which is fine but why didn't anyone know this. So we have vowed not to do business with Toyota of Rock Hill again.......Beware if you choose to.... More

James was very knowledgeable about the vehicles and the car buying process. After the deal was completed he remained friendly and helpful. He waited with me while my car was being cleaned, made sure all of my questions were answered, showed me everything I need to know about my new car. I HIGHLY recommend anyone needing a new car to go see James Rowland at Toyota of Rock Hill. You will be pleased! More
Prior to me driving an hour to get to this place to look at the vehicle after communicating via email with the salesman Mr. Fanning, I arrived test drove this car. There was popcorn in the car and it appeared that someone had been driving the car for personal use. It did not smell clean either. I debated on the vehicle and negotiated the price. After discussing prior to going there I had my own financing arranged prior to purchasing already. They made 3 seperate offers on my trade which was worth more then the initial offer made, and they were rude and not very interested in meeting me where I needed to be or customer service friendly at all. Matter of fact it seems as though once they realized I had declined there financing they basically no longer wanted to even help me or make a deal. Mr. Fanning did not even say bye or thanks for coming or anything. He walked away and was rude. His finance manager was not very customer friendly and didnt seem to care either. I asked that they come down a little more off the car and the deal would have been done. Funny enough the NEXT day the car is listed on the website for the exact amount I offered them and the amount it would have taken for me to purchase it! I was so upset, because I wanted the car but I could not bring myself to do business with such rude people who could care less about customer satisfaction or customer service! Then to see it listed as REDUCED the next day for the price I asked them to accept.. made me so upset. Such a disappointment. More
