This is a busy location so unless you can leave your vehicle and come back for it on a Saturday, I would recommend going during the week. I made an appointment on a Saturday morning at 9 am and the cars vehicle and come back for it on a Saturday, I would recommend going during the week. I made an appointment on a Saturday morning at 9 am and the cars were lined up down the street. The wait time for an oil change was 3 1/2 hours. I didn't have anyone go with me so I could not leave my vehicle and I was not going to wait half the day at the dealer. They assured me if I would come on a Tuesday they would get me out of there in an hour and a half. I showed up yesterday after work on Tuesday and Mickey Hagar greeted me. I explained what I needed to get done (oil change, tires balanced). He said the wait was going to be an hour to an hour 1/2 for the oil change and another hour and a half at least for the tire balance. That was 3 hours minimum. I explained that this was the 3rd time that I have tried to get my vehicle in and I was assured last Saturday that they could get me out in an hour and a half. He talked to someone and said they should be able to do it. THEY DID!! It ended up my battery needed to be replaced as well as a broken brake light, both still under warranty. So I had an oil change, filters replaced, battery replaced, brake light replaced, tires balanced, car washed and ready to go in an hour and a half! I was SO SO VERY VERY HAPPY!!! Nothing worse than having to sit and wait for hours. They really impressed me. So friendly and they want me to come back so they did it for me. I will go back there and I have already told several people about the great experience. I work for an insurance company in the claims office so stories about dealerships are shared daily. This was a good story to tell! More
My husband and I have dealt with this dealership for many years and their service department is the best that we have ever encountered. Everytime I go to this Toyota Service Center they are always friendly and keep me informed. Sometimes I just hang-out in the waiting rooms. He has always ensured that the service provided is "needed," is completed with expediency and is of the highest competency and quality. Numerous times he has gone out of his to accommodate me as a customer, particularly when unexpected delays or unforeseeable situations arose. Hence, my continuing to return to the dealership where I bought my Camry. FYI: This is the second "evaluation" I have done today. I completed one over the phone this afternoon. One comment re that: the young woman who called was very personable and seemed to be competent. However, she appeared to present articulation/pronunciation difficulties which affected her intelligibility of speech. Specifically, she repeatedly mispronounced TOYOTA Of Richardson. I am a seasoned Master's Level Professional Clinical Speech Pathologist and a Consultant/Coach for Voice/Speech/Executive Presentation Skills. Unfortunately for her, her apparent articulatory difficulty was immediately evident to my ear. I would think that if this young woman works directly for Toyota Of Richardson, the owner, management and/or Marketing Department would want all representatives of the Dealership to be able to communicate the name of the company clearly and with efficacy. If more specific information is wanted, I would welcome the opportunity to speak directly to someone regarding this situation. Thank you for your time. L. Metrik More
I had my Corolla for 14 years, and I have never had any major trouble with my the car. Every time I come in for service everyone is friendly, courteous, knowledgeable about the parts, pricing and give gre major trouble with my the car. service is usually great. Items are fixed and fixed right the first time. My only complaint is the cost is really high...I know labor is expensive, but Toyota seems to be higher than the competition. right the first time. We also drive Nissans, and their maintenance is always cheaper for the same items. $60 for an oil change and tire rotation is really steep. I am an extremely loyal Toyota owner and have been for 20 years. But if maintenance costs continue to outpace the competition, I might need to look at other brands when we decide to replace. More
