Great service.....but rather frustrating that we found ourselves requiring repair of our new 2012 Highlander when it still had fewer than 1,000 miles. I was promptly greeted by my service advisor . I came in for my car's 30,000 mile service and was informed clearly what maintenance work would be completed . The price estimate was almost the same as the am for my car's 30,000 mile service and was informed clearly what maintenance work would be completed . The price estimate was almost the same as the amount that I paid for the work done .Some other work was also completed at no cost to me .My car was ready in the time expected and I am pleased with my experience at the dealership and interaction with each employee there . I purchased my car (new Toyota Camry 2010) from this dealership a couple of years ago. I felt like that was a good experience, and I come back for all my car needs. My battery died suddenly (doesn’t alw dealership a couple of years ago. I felt like that was a good experience, and I come back for all my car needs. My battery died suddenly (doesn’t always?), I called the dealership in a panic and received very friendly, prompt excellent service. So very bad! Why? Because the guy that was helping me; although always polite and attentive took off for lunch and left me hanging. A younger gentleman who worked at the desk next to his (didn’t get his although always polite and attentive took off for lunch and left me hanging. A younger gentleman who worked at the desk next to his (didn’t get his name) asked if he could help – he went back and checked on my car – came back and yep… sure enough it was done and was just getting in the line to washed and moved to the front. And sure enough – 15 minutes later my car was pulled up and he was gone. It sat there another 15 minutes till someone named “Marty” took car of it… He helped me out big time. Two hours to get two keys made – totally horrible service. Totally. (1) it took to long to do something so simple (2) my original attendant (Scott), although courteous, yes … took off for lunch without checking on my car… I was wandering around that place – pacing around with nobody willing to help until FINALLY, (as mentioned above) someone took notice. Horrible service! There has got to be a better place to get my car serviced! I will NEVER go back to that place again. Lastly, get this … I got two keys made for my car and it cost $250 !! haha … give me a break! This place is a total RIP OFF ! More
I have taken our vehicles to Toyota of Richardson since we moved here in 2002. The advisors give an accurate estimate of what the issue is and tell us of any specials. I have worked with Matt Grier for some years now & he is professional & courteous to work with; he follows up to insure work is done as discussed and alerts us in advance of any additional work that needs doing. We have also never had to take the vehicles back because it's done right & completely the first time. Thus I give it a 5 rating. More

This is a busy location so unless you can leave your vehicle and come back for it on a Saturday, I would recommend going during the week. I made an appointment on a Saturday morning at 9 am and the cars vehicle and come back for it on a Saturday, I would recommend going during the week. I made an appointment on a Saturday morning at 9 am and the cars were lined up down the street. The wait time for an oil change was 3 1/2 hours. I didn't have anyone go with me so I could not leave my vehicle and I was not going to wait half the day at the dealer. They assured me if I would come on a Tuesday they would get me out of there in an hour and a half. I showed up yesterday after work on Tuesday and Mickey Hagar greeted me. I explained what I needed to get done (oil change, tires balanced). He said the wait was going to be an hour to an hour 1/2 for the oil change and another hour and a half at least for the tire balance. That was 3 hours minimum. I explained that this was the 3rd time that I have tried to get my vehicle in and I was assured last Saturday that they could get me out in an hour and a half. He talked to someone and said they should be able to do it. THEY DID!! It ended up my battery needed to be replaced as well as a broken brake light, both still under warranty. So I had an oil change, filters replaced, battery replaced, brake light replaced, tires balanced, car washed and ready to go in an hour and a half! I was SO SO VERY VERY HAPPY!!! Nothing worse than having to sit and wait for hours. They really impressed me. So friendly and they want me to come back so they did it for me. I will go back there and I have already told several people about the great experience. I work for an insurance company in the claims office so stories about dealerships are shared daily. This was a good story to tell! More
