But vehicle. I would NOT recommend there service department. Had them change my breaks at 40,000.00 miles which was very early to need front breaks. But I did it thinking maybe manufacture issue from purchasing it new. Then at 60,000.00 my truck has a shimmy to it and they tell me I need new breaks again. Now I have NEVER been hard on my breaks and I actually down shift a lot while driving. So I take my truck home and my boyfriend and I go to do my breaks and rotors. There is no way they ever changed my breaks. Completely lied to me and never touched them. When I bought my truck brand new in 2017 I was admit no one will touch my truck except Toyota. NOPE not now. Do not trust them what so ever. 300.00 for front breaks and they supposedly resurface rotors. No way they ever did that. I was literally barley past my warranty. If they were a good company they would have fixed them do to the short time period. But true colors showed big time in this incident. More
I would rate them at a 0. We bought a certified used vehicle from them & have nothing but problems. We mentioned the tires looked bare when we bought it, they assured us they were ok...once the rain sta vehicle from them & have nothing but problems. We mentioned the tires looked bare when we bought it, they assured us they were ok...once the rain started this fall I had to go buy new tires for safety. We had only driven about 1500 miles before we had to get new tires because they were unsafe. All of the tires were measured after they were removed & they did not meet Toyota’s “certified” tread. They also did not check the rain sensor during their “certified” inspection and it had to be replaced. Now I have a window that does not stay fully up and leaks when it is washed. They sold us a certified piece of crap. Do not buy a certified car from them, who knows what you will get. Very disappointed! I feel like I cannot trust my vehicle to be safe for my family. Never again. More
I brought my Tundra in for a timing belt service which cost $2200. After driving the truck home I noticed a pool of coolant under the truck. I returned to Toyota of Puyallup and told them of the leak. The cost $2200. After driving the truck home I noticed a pool of coolant under the truck. I returned to Toyota of Puyallup and told them of the leak. They informed me that they needed to order a hose clamp and when it arrived they would repair it and that it would be covered. Today I brought the truck in for the repair only to be told that a coolant port on the throttle body was bent and I needed to get a new throttle body. Their theory was that when the throttle body spacer was installed 14 years ago it was damaged and that adding new fluid somehow caused it to leak. I’ve been around cars my entire life, I own too many, and I am constantly working on them. Am I to believe that something that was damaged 14 years ago just started leaking? My belief is this was damaged during the timing belt repair. Now I have no option but to get it fixed and at an additional cost to me. As a customer of Toyota of Puyallup for the past 4 years, this will be the last time I have my Tundra serviced at this location. As a consumer and a business owner, I know this is not how to take care of loyal customers. More
They didn't finish the job So I took my Toyota Corolla in for a recall on the airbags. I avoid dealership at all costs but this was something I had to do. I dropped my car off i So I took my Toyota Corolla in for a recall on the airbags. I avoid dealership at all costs but this was something I had to do. I dropped my car off in the morning before work. They took their time in getting a loner car for me but eventually I was on my way. A couple hours later, I get the text of things that were found wrong with my car during the free inspection. I declined to have anymore service done than the airbags. After work, I returned the loaner, signed the paperwork for the airbags, and received the keys to my car. They didn't mention the inspection or offer me paperwork on that. The glove box was hanging there half way open and not even on its hinges. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! I walked back in and after 20 minutes, they got it back into place and closed. There was no acknowledgement that they gave me back my car without completing their job. In addition to that issue, there are grease hand prints inside of my car. I understand that they didn't wash it but now it is dirtier than when I had brought it in. I am absolutely disappointed and will continue to avoid dealerships. More

Literally ONE individual that works in that place that’s worth anything. Wouldn’t talk to anyone else but her bc she’s literally the only person that will do anything she said she would and follow through. Otherwise, the rest of the people there are racist, misogynistic, and homophobic. Lied to me to get me to buy a car. Promised a fix to the paint that was damaged on a brand new car.. complete fix.. not touch up. What’d they do? Sent it to a place that did not have the ability to do such a thing. Service department couldn’t be bothered to deal with it. Nor could they do anything other than blame others. Essentially didn’t have my new car for most of the first month. Had to demand to have it taken to Titus will to have the work properly done because they continued to attempt to take my car to a third party place that “does good work” on their other cars.. but according to their service department not the shop they use for their car shows? Pardon me for demanding to take it to a credible shop after the xxxx they put me through. Then when asking for compensation because we had to take off multiple days of work specifically to pick the car up and drop it off, I was made to feel like the bad guy for demanding my car be fixed appropriately. Then told “they would get back to me” after he talked to the owner. Did they? Crickets. Oh wait I should be happy I stood up for myself and made them pay for my brand new car to get the paint fixed.. when they agreed to that... hmm.. if you want them to delete your deal before you purchase so when you go to sign and then see your car payment doubles to almost 900 dollars because they’re too annoyed to do their job, have a calculator thrown at you during your negotiation with the sales person because they’re frustrated that they can’t add or answer your questions, have your wife completely ignored, or be treated as a second class citizen because you’re not a rich white individual, then sure go there. Otherwise avoid. Hope to see the one individual worth anything there leave and work in a place that could actually appreciate her efforts. More

It turned out it was a very rainy day, it didn't matter, the car that I wanted to drive was dry, undercover, and ready to go when I arrived with my family. This feature gave us the opportunity to really take a look at everything, no matter the weather. Nils gave us a lot of room to check the car out. It was immaculate and seemed like brand new car and it was 3 years old. The test drive was even fun and informative. We decided to go for it! Chuck in finance gave us plenty of space to choose what options would work best for our budget. I felt like our time was valued through the entire process. This is my first Toyota and I am so happy with it! More

Air filter had slight rodden chew marks and found few mouse droppings on it..Was advised could change it or leave it in..I told them to change it and then put old one in back of car so we could see how bad it really was..When we got home we opened box and filter was completely destroyed had dirt, moss, feathers. Not what we where told..I dont blame the girl who came out an told us evidentually she never saw it..she was very helpful and gave us suggestions of how to keep mice away from car..The problem was technician never passed on correct info to front office or the filter they put in back of car was not ours...Went back spoke to Rich the manager.Showed him filter all he could say was I have seen alot worse..I explained the story to him and he acted like it was no big deal..Even when we told him we werent sure if this was our filter since we just had it replaced 7mnths prior..Lack of carring or even concern we could have all gotten very sick if we didnt change it..We just didnt feel like they cared or took our concern serious. Very dissapointed in managers concern..I even had to suggest to take filter to tech and talk to them about it... More

They offer a comfortable place to wait with cookies and drinks as well as offer a shuttle to nearby stores. They are also close to a large park which is great when you're there for a longer service and have a kid with you! They have always done a great job, so now that I have a new Toyota Corolla I will return to continue the great service here. More
Typical hucksters. Beware very aware Had a leaky water pump replaced in my 07 Tundra. It's a somewhat involved process and these guys were several hundred cheaper than the other dealers Had a leaky water pump replaced in my 07 Tundra. It's a somewhat involved process and these guys were several hundred cheaper than the other dealers in the area. They were very friendly and more than happy to install a NAPA brand over Toyota OEM ....which promptly started leaking as soon as they installed it. Having compared both brands of pumps and gaskets I don't see any other way of saying I was simply swindled. They probably just didn't clean the housing and installed with a bad seal. I've had zero problems with countless other NAPA parts that I conclude these people will systematically screw the customer. More

It was 10pm and they let us take the car home over night so we could have an independent inspection done on it the next day. Matt Penrose (the manager) said they won't fix every little detail but if there is an oil leak - they would repair that before we signed the paperwork. Guess what - there most certainly was an oil leak - amongst other things (brake light out, battery about to die, and power steering fluid leaking) Went back to the dealership - Our sales guy, Justin Thomas, went to talk to the manager. Matt was off that day..Justin spoke to the used car sales manager, Richard Laning. Justin came back to us and said "We'll take $400 off". No...that's not what we were told last night. No, we will not accept $400 off - fix the problem. Justin went back to the manager and the manager (Richard) came out this time. He sat down with his arms crossed and said" Best we can do - $400 off the price". He DIDN'T say - "Hey guys, really sorry that there was an issue that our mechanics missed. We'll fix it up for you tomorrow and have it ready to drive home tomorrow night" Nope, the manager proceeded to tell us how they do not invest in their used cars because they would be spending too much money, he said we got an inspection from a shady company, he told us how long he's worked there, blah..blah..blah We reminded him that we were told LAST NIGHT by the manager (Matt) that any oil leak would be fixed. Our sales guy, Justin, said that he FORGOT to mention that to Richard. Richard said "Fine, we'll replace the valve covers and keep you at the original price that we agreed on" We said - we don't want you to just "replace the valve covers - we want you to fix the problem..like we were assured would be done, if there was a leak" End result, of a long argument back & forth, manager said "I've had enough" and pushed our independent inspection back at us and walked away. Not only did they not "make the sale" but they lost customers - for life. Studies show that customers become loyal to their dealership..and in the age of social media..I cannot believe that they treated us like that. Now, we will not buy from them, our co-workers will not buy from them, our social media contacts will be wary of them - for what? The managers ego? The cost of "doing it right"? More
