Carlos Murillo was my service advisor today at Toyota of Plano. He greeted me cheerfully and took a careful look at the past records of the Toyota vehicle that I had. He then explained to me clearly what needs to be done. I told him that I could not afford the repair. He offered 5 percent more than the 10 percent coupon. Carlos said the vehicle will be ready at 530 pm. I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was ready at 5pm itself. His dedicated team had found a problem during alignment and fixed it. It was quite easy to fix the appointment and the representative was courteous. Thank you Carlos and Toyota of Plano for the A+ experience I had today. Ethan greeted me in the parking lot as any new non-luxury car lot would. He was very friendly and we quickly test drove the car and then began the negotiating. He was working with two other people. So he would swoop by and give me the pencil and then off to take care of other clients. You could tell he was a high volume salesperson. We finalized the deal and I was very well taken care of by Brett in finance. The next part of the deal was absolutely horrible. This being my first EV I had lots of questions. I was referred to YouTube to get directions on how to do things with an EV rather than him even trying to inform me. He did try and pair my car to Toyota connect but some other customer had done so in a test drive so he did give me the number to Toyota connect to get them removed. This was the most helpful thing he did in the delivery. After Toyota got the other person removed I had to reset the technology and then had trouble pairing my phone. I text him asking for help or for someone at the dealer that could help and he text back its my phone and did not offer any help. I sent two emails to the GSM about this and he never responded. I discovered on Friday of last week that the dealership had not sent the check to pay off my trade. So I stopped by today to talk to the GSM about this. I explained what had happened and to be honest he did not seem to care about how Ethan delivered the car. When I asked about why the check had not been mailed to Infiniti, this is when things got heated. I told him this should have been done. He kicked me out of his office and told me he didn't have time for this when I told him I would be contacting Toyota corporate. He told me to not threaten him like this and that I was being passive aggressive. More
