My husband and I recently purchased a Honda Odyssey from Toyota of Olympia and received the best service ever! What made our experience so pleasant was our salesman Deion Moore. Mr. Moore was great to work with and really went above and beyond to secure our car. He kept us informed during the entire process and made sure he answered all our questions. Both my husband and I highly recommend Mr. Moore and will work with him again in the future!! Good luck Mr. Moore! More
What a joke! Came out of our way to pre purchase not one but two 2023 vehicles. First was told no deposit allowed and it was first come, first serve. Once we conf Came out of our way to pre purchase not one but two 2023 vehicles. First was told no deposit allowed and it was first come, first serve. Once we confronted the salesman on there was another Sequoia showing that had a pending sale, he let us know it was for the managers wife. When he found out we were interested in not one but two vehicles to purchase, the salesman said he would go see about being able to do both deals at the same time and take deposits on both. The next excuse was they will take a deposit on one vehicle but not the other because we are not residents of the county that Olympia Toyota is in!!! Well, not only did you lose not one or nonetheless two sales.... But you lost permanent customers off of a managers personal choice. Update.... To add insult to injury, by the time we made it home, the same manager that is purchasing a new sequoia for his wife but denied us from purchasing one that's still in transportation sends us an email ! It clearly was a copy and paste letter stating that he hopes they answered all questions and addressed all needs...... xxx?!?! More
Last year, I purchased a vehicle from Toyota of Olympia and was quite happy with their expeditious methods of making the car buying process less painful. So when I decided a few months ago that I wanted a and was quite happy with their expeditious methods of making the car buying process less painful. So when I decided a few months ago that I wanted a new 4Runner TRD Pro, I surfed around the internet and found that Toyota of Olympia had one in transit to the dealer. I called and was directed to Brandon Lake. All vehicles are on a first-come, first serve basis, so I asked him to please keep me updated on arrival, and I would make myself available to come down and complete the deal. Last week, Brandon called me and told me the 4Runner would be in next week. I thanked him for updating me and asked to be notified upon arrival and availability. This morning, at 8:12 am on August1st, Brandon sent me a message that the vehicle had arrived at the dealer. I told him I would be down as soon as possible to confirm everything and make financing arrangements. At 11:27 am on August 1st, Brandon sent me a message that said, "It looks like we would only be selling our TRD Pro models to customers who reside in the Lacy and Olympia area. I apologize for the inconvenience." I live in Pierce County, just outside of the "designated area" of the dealer. Having received this news, it goes without saying that I was very displeased. I am a strong advocate of a free market economy. If Toyota of Olympia wants to restrict its sales to specific buyers, be my guest. However, when management elects (or, in this case, their sales puppet) to notify me that they won't sell it to me after the vehicle has arrived, it comes across as a pretty rotten business model, especially to a previous customer and an active duty service member. To the management of Toyota of Olympia, the auto industry will not always be the way it is now. There will come a time when the lot will be packed, and you will struggle to turn your inventory. Word travels fast around Joint Base Lewis McChord, and I intend to share this story with everyone I know. You may have sold the vehicle I have been waiting for to the demographic of your choosing, but what you didn't realize is that the lease on my wife's Highlander is coming to an end, and I was also considering a Corolla you had in stock for my daughter leaving for college in a few weeks. The dealer could have taken in 2 pristine vehicles to list as CPOs and have closed out three new sales in one shot. I would drive a thousand miles to avoid conducting business with your dealership. I hope it was worth it. More
I’ve lost family members to covid. 2 yr old grand daughter. 4 yr old grandson has a “thunder clap” headache- hes in so much pain he literally lays in bed and cries all day. For almost 2 yr old grand daughter. 4 yr old grandson has a “thunder clap” headache- hes in so much pain he literally lays in bed and cries all day. For almost a year. Was in this dealership about two weeks ago and was sent to an area were employees were not wearing masks. I talked to some people on the floor and in service station. I said I wouldn’t do business where employees weren’t wearing masks. On the way home I received a phone call from main manager- Carrol I believe. Could be wrong about that name. We talked a minute and she said “ we have a protocol for our employee’s and they should be doing it. I’ll look into it.” A few minutes after that call was done another phone call came in-don’t think it was “Carrol”. This person asked me what it would take and what they could do to keep my business. I said I didn’t want anything. I just would like for these guys to wear masks. I don’t want anything of monetary value-just these guys to care about the customers and do what the sign on every door says. She said it would be looked into. So i make an appt for new tires, thinking that they did something about it. Nope. THE SAME PEOPLE AND 2-3 MORE NOT WEARING MASKS. I talked to floor manager and he talked to guys at front desk and they put them on. Finance department said no. He then came over and tried to tell me why it was alright- “well next week nobody will have to”- “these guys eating out here aren’t”- “they’re drinking coffee”. And so on and so forth. I had been sitting there for 30-45 minutes and not one had taken a drink of any thing. One gentleman was coming from the bottom of the stairs (I didn’t see him go upstairs so I’m guessing his office was down stairs) was walking all the way from there all the way passed the cafe and down a hall or out to service. Multiple times. I had them pull my car down (They were getting ready to do my tires) and left. I don’t believe the guy that talked to these guys was a manager. I feel I was told it would “Looked into” or that “protocols need to be followed” was ever done. I have bought 5 cars here since 2000. Almost 150,000 dollars. All service done by them. Bought used cars (private sellers) and had all there service for them done here. We’ve spent 200,000-250,000 dollars here. My wife went through the paperwork. We will never be back. It sad. I really did love working with the people in sales and service. This was our forever dealership. We only drive toyotas. Rather drive to centralia or tacoma. Management can always look at security footage and know everything in this review is true. Miss you guys More

Went to an appointment that was scheduled to test drive a vehicle. The person who we were scheduled to meet never appeared. Spent 30 minutes looking for a key. Finally found the key only to be told they c vehicle. The person who we were scheduled to meet never appeared. Spent 30 minutes looking for a key. Finally found the key only to be told they couldnt find the key the day before either so the people who were scheduled to look at it the day prior were being allowed to come back till the following night to look at the car. (Not their fault) but that was never told to us before our appointment. They were unable to anything with us as the car was on "hold" for the people from the day before. We couldn't test drive it or do anything but look at it so it was a total waste of our time. Toyota has become to big for their britches and has forgotten what decent respect and Customer service are. We went to Mazda of Olympia where we purchased not 1 but 3 vehicles all at once! To bad Toyota your incompetence lost you a 3 car sale. The most unorganized dealership I have ever been to. If you want a good car buying experience skip right over Toyota of Olympia and check out ANYONE else! You will be much happier not to have your time-wasted! Shame on you Toyota! More
TL;DR They are happy to renege on their price quotes if they can sell your car to someone else for more money. We just had a VERY frustrating experience with Toyota of Olympia. We have been looking for they can sell your car to someone else for more money. We just had a VERY frustrating experience with Toyota of Olympia. We have been looking for a 4WD Sienna for quite some time (over a year), and we thought we had finally found one that we could afford at Toyota of Olympia, who gave us a very competitive quote. Unfortunately it all turned out to be too good to be true, due to their bait-and-switch tactics. The good: All of the various people that we talked to were very pleasant on the phone. The bad: They had us pay $1000 to "hold" the car that we had received the quote for, and told us that the car would be on the lot in 2 weeks. That date came and went with no further contact from them, so we called back and got a new estimate of 2 more weeks. Again, that time came and went, and they told us it would be actually be 6 more weeks (this would be 2.5 months from when we put down our deposit). Suddenly, with no prior notice to us, the car arrived on the lot, 2 weeks before their latest estimated due date. We cancelled our plans for the day (including celebrating my Father's birthday!) moved a bunch of money into our checking account, and made plans to have a friend drive one of us to the dealership while the other stayed home to watch the kids. After all of this was done, Toyota of Olympia dropped a HUGE bombshell on us: they told us that our True Car price quote had "expired" (despite the fact that there was never a time limit/expiry date mentioned, nor have they been able to provide any documentation showing that there ever was a time limit) and that our new quote was going to be **$7500!!!** more than the previous one. They also really poured on the pressure to buy, since our $1k deposit only gave us a single day hold. In the end, we waffled a bit too long, since we couldn't really afford to pay an extra $7500 without making sacrifices elsewhere in our life, and they ended up selling the car out from under us (the day after they initially called us to let us know that the car was on the lot). I understand that there are parts shortages going on that are influencing the supply & demand model, but the least they could have done as soon as they found out that their pricing was likely to change would have been to inform us. We asked for confirmation of the price *every single time* we called up to get update on the delivery date, and they always told us that we guaranteed to get the car at our original quote. We ended up making a lot of life choices based on the promises that Toyota of Olympia made to us (fool me once, shame on me, I guess), that we will now have to go back and revisit thanks to the way that they treated us. One thing is for sure, we will NEVER be purchasing a car from them. More
Bought a used 20k Toyota Tacoma, after not even three weeks the truck rear differential blew almost causing a large accident with my child in the truck. The repair to fix what broke is at least 6k plus a weeks the truck rear differential blew almost causing a large accident with my child in the truck. The repair to fix what broke is at least 6k plus and Toyota was only willing to give a discount on the repair after we have already payed a few hundred in towing costs. Now left paying thousands of dollars to repair a truck we haven't even made a payment on. I have bought a few vehicles through Toyota of Olympia but I wont be going through them again. Situation was handled very poorly, I expected alot better from this company. More
