After dealing with a Toyota in South Charlotte we went to Charlotte of North Charlotte. The difference was like night and day, the dealer in South Charlotte we will never visit again. The attitude, profess Charlotte of North Charlotte. The difference was like night and day, the dealer in South Charlotte we will never visit again. The attitude, professionalism, honesty of the two men we dealt with was remarkable. My wife and I told them when we are looking for another automobile they will be the first dealer we contact. Our overall experience could not have been better, their follow up was tremendous and should be a model for all Toyota dealers. In particular Winfred Kluttz was most helpful and his honesty and sincerity was very much appreciated. Winfred went the extra mile and helped us conclude the purchase of a vehicle for our son in the most pleasant approach with any automobile dealer I have experienced in the United States. We will make sure that if any of our friends are looking for a car we will insure they will know of the great experience we had dealing with Toyota of North Charlotte. I hope you pass these comments on and recognize these two individuals for their exemplary efforts that I am sure help this dealer be the best in Charlotte. Sincerely J.P. Moore, Jr More
My husband and i visited several dealerships including a different toyota and was offered a fair price for our trade in. We traveled an hour and a half to this dealership because they had an excellent inter different toyota and was offered a fair price for our trade in. We traveled an hour and a half to this dealership because they had an excellent internet deal on the vehicle we wished to purchase. We soon discovered that they are able to offer such a great price because they will give you the very low end of your trade, probably to make up the difference. They offered me 1500.00 less than the other toyota dealership offered and wouldnt budge when confronted with the low offer. How can one dealership offer so much more for the trade? Had they matched the trade in price we wouldnt have wasted so much time and gas traveling to north charlotte. I understand that they have to make their money but give me a break, you are going to sell a used car for a ton more than its even worth. Dont give me a BS lowball offer. More
I contacted the internet department after reading that is the easiest to get a great deal without the hassle. John was helpful in getting a price for the car they where the best price in the area. some deale the easiest to get a great deal without the hassle. John was helpful in getting a price for the car they where the best price in the area. some dealers would not even give a price without coming in. The only thing they would not do was give me a trade value without coming in. After wasting a trip to another dealer who did offer trade value which changed when I got there I called North Charlotte. John was off and Lizz checked the availability of the car. She was a real team player. After the test drive Chris took care of the paperwork. We will be going back in the fall for our sons car. More
When we first went in we told them what we were looking for. We also told them that we were not interested in a lease and what our payments had to be at. We were not trading anything we were purchasing i for. We also told them that we were not interested in a lease and what our payments had to be at. We were not trading anything we were purchasing it right out and what we wanted our payments to be. Well they kept on and on telling us about the benefits of the lease and (however we kept telling them the mileage would kill us). It was like they knew that they couldn't get the payment to where we/they needed to be so they were going to sell the lease program. Another thing that I didn't like about them is that most dealerships you have a grace period of so many days and/or miles if you don't like it then you can bring it back. They made us sign a paper that it was a done deal and the vehicle was ours once we drove it off of the lot. That made me a little skeptical about the whole deal. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. Matter of fact we have been telling people that/who are looking for vehicles to stay away from that dealership and the reason WHY!!!! Since this was on a Sunday I called back Monday and asked if they had turned in the paperwork to the bank and they said no - so I told them that I just lost my job and that I needed to return it. They kept saying what kind of deal I was getting and that they could sell the vehicle for more $ than they sold it to us. I told them if that was the case to go ahead and sell it to someone else because we didn't want it or any part of it and/or the lease. More
My husband and I are in the market for a new car. We went over to Toyota of North Charlotte on a Friday evening at 9pm exactly. Dealership closes at 10... We were greeted at the door by a woman who asked how over to Toyota of North Charlotte on a Friday evening at 9pm exactly. Dealership closes at 10... We were greeted at the door by a woman who asked how she could help us. We told her we would like to test drive a Camry SE. We are not at the buying point yet, we just wanted to take this car for a drive. She brought us to one with cloth seats, we asked if we could test drive the one next to it with leather. She seemed annoyed, almost acting as if we were bothering her. We waited about 10-15 minutes for the keys. She drives us around to the front of the dealership (in total silence) and lets my husband get into the drivers seat. She gets into the back. He turns on the headlights but when he does this, the entire cabin goes dark - the dashboard/radio lights wont come on. He fiddles with it for probably about 5 minutes. I keep asking the "sales person" if this is supposed to happen, and how do we get the dashboard lights to come on when the headlights are on? That is a perfectly normal function to expect out of a car. More silence. She offered NO help. I felt like saying, "HELLO?? Anyone home??" She just said "Oh, the lights are supposed to come on." My husband was a good sport about it and said, "Ok, I'll just drive the car as is." So now we take this car for a test drive with no lights on the dashboard. He couldn't even see any of the controls or even how fast he was going. I was fuming. The only thing the "sales person" would say to us was where to turn to get back to the dealership. Clearly, she had no interest in gaining our business. Once we were back, she told us to pull over and that she would take the car around back. We got out, she pulled off without a word, and we went straight back to our car and left. Never, never again. I own a Toyota and the service department is just as bad - I find the service people to be condescending, unhelpful, and rude. I haven't been back to the Service department in a year. Now I understand why this is the lowest rated dealership in the area. Update: I emailed the General Sales Manager Jackie Crane about this almost a week ago, with no response. I fully believe they just don't care. More

I was a little apprehensive to go to this dealership considering the reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised! My husband was interested in purchasing a new Tundra....he got a great deal on his trade-in, considering the reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised! My husband was interested in purchasing a new Tundra....he got a great deal on his trade-in, and great financing. Somehow, I was convinced into test-driving a Camry, and we purchased one as well! I highly recommend Gary & Jason, our salespeople, for their knowledge and their non-pushiness. Kathy, the sales manager, was soo helpful and great to work with. James, the finance guy, got us a phenomenal deal. Try this dealership!!! More

I also appreciated Mark Higdon, Samantha Mattson and Vickie Wall's positive attitude, and ability to understand my needs. I got my Camry Friday night (4/1/2011), and am pleased with it. I also want to thank Tony Harris in Finance for his ability to move things along when we realized we forgot to go home and let the dog out before we arrived. Everyone at Toyota of North Charlotte made us happy we choose their dealership to buy our car. More
My husband and I went to look at a used Coralla, we werent going to make a purchase that day and told the salesperson and manager this several times. We test drove the car and liked it somewhat. We wan werent going to make a purchase that day and told the salesperson and manager this several times. We test drove the car and liked it somewhat. We wanted to see what the payments would be reminding the sales staff we werent buying that day. Jason the salesperson was very nice and informative not pushy at all. The next day we received 3 calls and an email within 2 hours. I emailed the credit manager stating that we werent ready to purchase, stil I received several calls after on my cell phone, then they decided to call my work phone. The first call I told the lady I was at work and to call me after 5 on my cell, she did not. The next day I received another call on my job from someone different and I told them this was my work and not to bother calling again I would not be purchasing a car from them. This was very distrubing to be harrassed about a car on my job especially when they had been told I was not ready to buy. Beware if you visit the dealership and dont buy from them they will harrass you! More
