Toyota of Newnan, Thanks for at least responding. There was no confusion: 1) We had an agreed-upon price, prior to us leaving to drive 45 miles to your dealership. 2) We had the price in writing and presented it upon Connor's comment "the price presented to us", by your dealership, presented in person, was "a mistake". We never shared our previously received written price until after Connor said the price presented to us in person, by the sales department, was a "mistake". They both matched up dollar for dollar to the penny. 3) We then agreed to the full price presented in-person to us in writing. 4) The agreement was then signed by us on-site at the Toyota of Newnan asking price. 5) The agreement was returned with the red stamp stating the pricing was only valid upon using the financing through Toyota of Newnan. 6) We agreed to look at terms from Toyota of Newnan. The terms came back with an interest rate of 6.4% for someone who has an "excellent" credit rating in the 800's. Easily confirmed by your finance department who ran the report and had me sign the confirmation that my credit was run by Toyota of Newnan. As a business owner, I wanted my wife's and my experience to be an education to the public. I would be extremely embarrassed if my employees treated our prospective customers in this manner. Unfortunately, these real-life incidents are why the industry's great car dealers that provide memorable customer experiences get penalized. They are unfairly included with those only interested in making money.
