Avoid the service department!!!!!!!!!!!!1 I own a Highlander and have it serviced at Jim Barkley Toyota in Asheville NC. My family was visiting in Newnan GA. I needed to get my son's Honda Ri I own a Highlander and have it serviced at Jim Barkley Toyota in Asheville NC. My family was visiting in Newnan GA. I needed to get my son's Honda Ridgeliine serviced with just a tire rotation and oil change. I chose the Newnan Toyota dealership (big mistake!) because of my respect for Jim Barkley Toyota.So instead of a Jiffy Lube place I chooses (big mistake!), yes, Toyota of Newnan. I thought it was odd that they do not have an express lane. My Toyota dealership in NC sure does and I use it all of the time. So two and one-half hours later the car is ready. The dealership service department is NOT busy. People who have come in after are leaving. Poor Derrick ( the service rep) is so socially inept it does occur to him e to update me even once.So I take the initiative with the checkout person who tells me the vehicle is still being worked on. I go to Derrick's desk. He is on the phone (probably social) and stand in front of his desk. He ignores me. I go to the desk (Lance), who at least has enough sense to note that I have been there a long time, long after customers who have come in after me have already left. Then I see my son's Ridgeline out in the lot. So I tell Lance that and he looks out goes "duh." Long story short. I pay my sixty dollars and leave. I did ask for the service supervisor's name, called him and left a professional detailed message with his phone number. By the way, he might not exist as I have never heard back from him. So avoid the service department at Toyota of Newnan. They are unprofessional, only interested in your money, poorly trained and do not represent Toyota well. I would never go back there. Hopefully they will fire Mr. Stovall and some of his unprofessional service representatives. Then start over and build back the company's reputation. More
Great experience buying a part from the parts department I purchased a replacement mirror for my Rav4 using their Toyota online parts catalog on the dealership website. One of their parts consultants called immediately to let me know the assembly did not include the cover. I am so happy she let me know since I needed the cover too! She ordered the parts for me that day and I received the items in 3 days. Their prices are competitive, they were quick to process & ship my order and they have great customer service. Overall I am very happy with my purchase and will definitely order from them again if I need any more parts for my Rav! More

Although we had a positive experience during our initial sale, we have been very disappointed by the result. Our 2009 corolla has serious issues relating to a faulty water pump that has caused engine damage sale, we have been very disappointed by the result. Our 2009 corolla has serious issues relating to a faulty water pump that has caused engine damage. We kept our vehicle serviced and this issue came up suddenly this fall. We have had the car a little more than three years and it has less than 60000 miles total. We have had to put 4000 dollars into repairs since September. While we realized that warranties were expired, and did not expect to have these costs covered, we were told by several repair places that these kinds of issues should NOT be happening at this point. We did expect that a dealer from which we had purchased thee vehicles would take into account that these kinds of problems on a vehicle with fairly low mileage is unusual, and that perhaps they would have offered some kind of break on the repairs. Not only did they NOT do that, they were very rude and cold about the whole thing. Ironically, they chastised us for not having a Toyota water pump in the car. Never mind that the reason we didn't was that we had to have an emergency repair when the Toyota pump that was in theme car burst. We will never go back to this dealer for sales or service...not because we think that they did anything illegal or wrong, but because we expect that places we have given repeat business on big ticket items would treat us and unusual issues with more empathy and concern. We are people....and deserved more humane treatment. They were arrogant and uncaring. More
Called on Thursday to rent a Prius in a couple of weeks and was quoted a weekend price plus a one day rental because I would have the vehicle from Friday to Tuesday. A lady by the name Elisha check to see and was quoted a weekend price plus a one day rental because I would have the vehicle from Friday to Tuesday. A lady by the name Elisha check to see if a pruis would be available and confrmed that a pruis was available for the dates.I felt that the price Elisha quoted me was very fair and resonable. Told her I needed to speak with my husband and would call her right back to confirm. I called back within 10 minutes, asked for rental and received a voice mail. I called back and asked to speak to Elisha. I got her voice mail as well. I didn't leave a message on either one . I called back in about 45 minutes for the same thing to happen. This tome I left a message on the rental voice mail. I tried calling all day up until about 450 pm when finally I told the receptionist that I wanted to speak with someone and not a voice mail. I was put in contact with Lauren and explain the above to her. She also confirmed about a vehicle being available when I needed it. Se took my name and number and said she would have them to reserve it for me first the in the am and would call me to let me know it was done. She called me today( Friday ) and told me they no longer rent Prius! Even though it is still on the list when you talked to them and the workers like Elisha and Lauren think they are available. So I called Elisha and she once again looks and confirms that a Prius can be rented. She puts me on hold and talks to Hernan Gutierrez who is the manager over the rental and this is when she finds out that NO they can longer rent Prius. So I call and leave Hernan Gutierrez a voice message to call me. I'm informed that they rent other vehicles but not Prius and that this was changed back on May 1st. My complaint is that it is now the 24th and you have had time to tell your employees and make changes in the computer and to the list of rentals so that when someone calls for a specific vehicle and they are NOT misinformed. I told him I wasn't happy with their communication between one other so that the customer doesn't have to suffer. I told him I would be writing a BAD review and dealing with another Toyota dealer that is a little distant s away. I also asked who the owner was andante to have them call me He chuckled and said it is privately owned, his name Walt and he is my brother. And thanks for the feedback. So here you go Hernan! That's my feedback. As I told you we are looking at buying one but wanted to try one out first but we will NOT buy from you! Thank you Elisha and Lauren for your help. Sorry you had the wrong information in front of you! Beware of Hernan Gutierrez at the dealership because he seems to think that just because his brother owns the place he can treat customers wrong! 3 return trips for 15,000 service bc of service advisor not recommending tire rotation even though it is clearly stated every 5,000 miles, no other recommended maintenance performed either, took car back 2 not recommending tire rotation even though it is clearly stated every 5,000 miles, no other recommended maintenance performed either, took car back 2nd time dealt with manager, they left off lug nut and valve stem cap, took car back 3rd time, they put wrong lug nut on, took car back 4th time finally fixed with no apology or desire to have me as a customer ever again. also took my 4runner in for service & pedal recall, i asked not to have my pedal cut, they cut it, and asked to have my grease fittings lubricated and propeller shaft re torqued, they didnt perform either service, had to return a 2nd time to have right pedal put on vehicle and propeller shaft re torqued. I greased the fittings myself... I will never return to Toyota of Newnan again for anything... thank god Lagrange toyota is not that much further as i will be using them from now on.... More

I purchased a used Toyota Camry from Toyota of Newnan and the transaction was seamless, due to my salesman Jesus Jimenez. Salesman told me car was serviced had oil change and ready to go. Drove car home and battery went dead all filters clogged and did not get the oil change which was stated. I spoke with the sales manager Justin and he stated he only buys new cars and does not buy used cars to inherit other peoples problems were his exact words. Basically he was telling me dont buy a used car from them. These guys do not back up what they say and do not have any integrity. They stated your car when you drive it off the lot not there problem. I would think twice before buying a used car from these guys. Also, the salesman and sales manager promised me a call back and never did. Also, was supppose to get a call back from the general manager and never did. They just sent me a email and took the easy way out. More
