I took car in for 60K mile service that included tire rotation on 4/17/2009 Wheel Alignment service performed on 5/7/2009 but first action was to rotate tires and charge my wife for it. I bought my vehicle new from Toyota of Naperville. My 05 Highlander had a front differential leak at 42,000 miles. They had it for a month. It is clear that the silicone is fresh and that they did. They offered no assistance other than to waive the $53 diagnostic fee and quote me a $1,900 repair job to reseal the transfer case. When I questioned them about the $53 fee, they told me that it is a standard charge just as one goes to a doctor and pays a fee. I asked them why they had not disclosed that at the time I scheduled the appt and her response was, "Didn't you ask?" Toyota Corp offered me $500 toward the purchase of a new vehicle but they said since it is out of warranty, no help otherwise. I am dissatified with my experience and the fact that they lied to me about the work they did. More
