I initially went to Dan wolf (Naperville) Toyota to look at a used Buick. The staff were very polite and attentive to my needs from the time I set foot in the dealership. Fortunately, I ended up buying a brand new Toyota Venza. Justin Buck who was my sales person was extremely polite and professional. He gave me a great deal and I am appreciative of his efforts to put this deal together. They also gave me a very good price for my trade-in. All in all, it was a great experience. Since the day of purchase, Justin has contaced me twice to see if I need anything. I have also bought several Lexuses from their Lexus dealership with similar experiences. Rare is the occasion in today's times that one can write about a positive customer service experience. So this letter is actually a pleasure to write for me today. This is especially true due to the fact it emcompasses a number of various departments to work cohesively for an optimal outcome. My first contact with Toyota of Naperville was a phone call I placed to inquire about some vehicles on their website. I was directed to Thea in the Sales Area. She was polite and answered a number of inquiries of mine. I called latter that day and asked for her extension. She was away but my call was returned within fifteen minutes. In my profession I'm on the phone all day and leave voicemails that get returned in the range of hours, days, or never at all. The next morning I entered the dealership and met Dave Zidlicky who greeted me warmly. Thru my research I knew the vehicles I was interested in seeing and Dave quickly obtained the keys. He was extremely knowledgeable of the vehicles operations and features. Making a selection we went for a test drive at the offsite test facility. During the test drive phase I expressed an interest in a different color that was not in the current stock. Upon our return Dave immediately began working on meeting that request. He kept saying "How do I earn your business and sell you a vehicle you want." Although selling a vehicle is of course in a Sales Associates best interest he was willing to wait several weeks if needed in order for my desired color to arrive. It was refreshing that he was not pressing for a hard sell. I choose to pursue the vehicle I test drove and we entered negotiations. After a little back and forth negotiating a deal was struck and at no point did I feel pressured to make this purchase. So next I met Gary from the Finance Department. He asked to confirm some numbers several times to ensure the accuracy of the documents he was preparing. He also asked throughout the entire signing process if I needed any further explanation of the documentation. I did not feel rushed in this process. So lastly, I met Dave again who then went over the basic functions of the vehicle's operations in the Pick-up Area. Now, I'm not going to say it was perfect process but everyone I had contact with made a point of quickly addressing any issues and my calls were returned promptly by the staff. And it is for this reason I have choosen to take this time to write this rather lengthy letter of recommendation for Toyota of Naperville. More
