I went to purchase a used CHR from this dealership on October 20th. I was trading in a vehicle, advised my sales person Ben, sales manager JD and the finance person Daniel that I would be transferring October 20th. I was trading in a vehicle, advised my sales person Ben, sales manager JD and the finance person Daniel that I would be transferring my plates to the new car from the trade in. When I picked my vehicle up from Ben on the 21st, there was a temporary tag on the car, when I asked where my license plate was, he told me it was fine and I would be contacted when the plate came in. 30 days past, the plate was not in and I had to get another temp tag. I finally got with the title clerk, who advised me that the interaction should not have gone that way and they had to open a police report. The dealer then advised me they could have this fixed in a day turn around, all along I have been telling them I was moving out of the state and that was why I needed this plate urgently and was transferring it. After weeks of waiting for the tag to be sent to my new address, I contacted them back and asked for the tracking number since they sent it through FedEx. Title clerk told me it was delivered on 12-17 to an address that I didn’t give them. I had to go to a random address to go pick up my plate. Would not recommend, lack of organization, communication and urgency to fix dealership mistakes. More
THEY DONT KEEP THEIR WORD! ALL 4 TIRES NEED REPLACED AFTER A MONTH!!! Upon test driving the car I noticed TPS on, and strange "whoot whoot" noise. I agreed to buy the car under the condition that both AFTER A MONTH!!! Upon test driving the car I noticed TPS on, and strange "whoot whoot" noise. I agreed to buy the car under the condition that both TPS AND NOISE WERE FIXED.. the dealer agreed to these terms. After 3wks of taking the car in and out of the shop I find out that before I bought the car it had sat for more than six months and the tires had warped.. which was causing the noise. And TPS activated because one of the tires has a slow leak in warped area... they had psi at 42 (suppose be at 33) just to try and hide the issue. I've had to get air every couple of days. And noone will patch it because the tire needs replaced.. replacement tires are nearly 1500. And thats after I put 2000 down at purchase. Toyota took advantage of me lied to me and did not do what they said. Ud think that because its Toyota and not some backyard dealer they would have better integrity and work hard to provided what they promise to customers.. I understand its not a cheap repair to make but its a repair that anyone else would have expected. This experience has made me doubt the integrity of even big time companies. I will honestly never go back to Toyota of murfreesboro.. and I suggest anyone looking to buy a car there.. MAKE SURE THE WORK IS DONE BEFORE YOU SIGN. BECAUSE TOYOTA OF MURFREESBORO DOES NOT KEEP THEIR WORD More

My journey began around Nov 7th. I was inquiring about a new black Camry XSE V6 that was on the lot. After texting and talking to Tariq, I was ready to get it only to find out that the car was already sold new black Camry XSE V6 that was on the lot. After texting and talking to Tariq, I was ready to get it only to find out that the car was already sold and the dealership must have not updated the webpage or it wasn't reflecting on the webpage. Okay, moving on. A dark grey XSE V6 with black interior. "It's not ours but we can get it" Wouldn't tell me where the car was located, which I understand because they don't want to lose the potential sell to another dealer. Some people may do business like that but I don't and was upfront about it. I just wanted to confirm that the car was physically at a location, how many miles it was from their lot, X amount of time to acquire and get to the dealership, that way I could do some planning. After agreeing that we want the car, I was told that "We need a $500 deposit to secure and acquisition the vehicle. Few days pass, no big deal. I'm already approved by my bank, gave the $500 deposit only to find out that that car was sold! I'm thinking that I just gave you the money as a deposit, it's a sure sell as we've already agreed on price. I would think as soon as the deposit is secured, the car would be secured as well but no, it was sold. 2 XSE V6's sold. I actually did a review after the first car was sold and 3 different sale people had contacted me with the same questions (communications) but contacted Dealerrater and asked them to remove the review because I wanted to give it a fair shake being that Tariq had found the dark grey XSE V6. Well, the car sold and I said easy day, we'd be moving onto another dealer and we want our deposit returned as I'm not waiting another month to find a vehicle and have that one sold out from under me as well. I've got a full time job, a family, things to do and it feels like I was being dragged along. 2 days pass, I send a text that we're still waiting on our deposit to be returned. I get a phone call from the dealership, it goes to voicemail and no voicemail left. I then a text that he wanted me to call him back because he had shredded the numbers to the CC and I'm assuming that he wanted me to call him back to give him the numbers to return my deposit. It's not my first car deal, it's common knowledge that getting the customer on the phone is half the battle and once that is achieved, you're "golden". Whether the intent was to drag me along and do the sale person/customer "wine and dine" or not, it's how the customer perceives the service or lack of respect. Had the money been returned and my intelligence not insulted, the review would have been no where this scathing. I'm very disappointed as I thought that I was going to get great and straight forward service per the reviews on this site, only to get the opposite. More

Of the offers in the mailing; 'up to $12,400 for my trade-in', '90 days no payment', '0% APR financing', and '$6,660 off MSRP', the only one that would have been honored would have been the 0% financing - if I was willing to give up the $3,000 discount!
