My sienna was already damaged I bought a used sienna and a few weeks later was hearing a tapping under the hood when i got up to 55mph and when the wind is gusty. We noticed when we bought the van, in the wheel area the plastic was broke from the screw but that was okay with us. A year later I brought it in for an oil change and they showed me where something was ran over and shoved the under plastic piece up in the engine area. The tapping was where it hit and broke off the piece holding the external temp reader which was dangling creating the tapping. It also was the reason for the broke plastic from the bolt. The front brakes were wore down to nothing. They blamed me, saying I ran over something and told me if I heard a tapping I didn't do anything for 9,000 miles and a year later. I was not the only person who heard it so even if I did wait, it was already broke when we bought it and 6 months ago when the tires were rotated they didn't say anything (you can only see the obvious damage when its on a lift, their words.) They also didn't say anything about the brakes. It wasn't until I asked for it to be checked out did they address it. They had all the answers, saying the tapping was not the hanging temp reader but the fender well flapping. If I hit something I would at least know I did it but I know It was already in this condition when I got it. They said my extended warranty doesn't cover any of this because its my fault. I will never come back to them for anything and when maintenance is due I will take it to a Toyota dealer they don't own. More
Brought car for new rim & alignment, had to come back the next day bc I had a flat - they'd forgotten the valve seal. Have to go back a 3rd time bc they forgot to repack the fix-a-flat kit. Although I've selected Jason Sherwood since he's the only person I remember from my vehicle purchase, this review is about my service visits. I've only been in for service twice (once for my bed li the only person I remember from my vehicle purchase, this review is about my service visits. I've only been in for service twice (once for my bed liner and step rails) and the other for a 5-star service. Both times were quick even though I did not make an appointment for the first one (just drove in). I don't know if this is the norm, but every time the guy that initiated my service came through the waiting area, he would update me on what was happening and approximately how much longer it would be. So far, I've had only good experiences with Toyota of Muncie. More
I had the car in for its 60,000 mile service. Peggy greeted me warmly and prepared the car while we discussed what was to be done. I pointed out a minor issue from a previous visit and she had Damon co greeted me warmly and prepared the car while we discussed what was to be done. He agreed with my assessment and promised to review what had been done and make sure everything was taken car of. Damon was very attentive, friendly, courteous and professional. I waited in the great customer lounge. Lori came over from her station to visit with me, and we chatted for a little while, which I really appreciated. The work on the car was completed in about 90 minutes, during which time I was able to very comfortably watch the news, have a fresh coffee and finish some reading. The work was performed as discussed. Peggy reviewed the completed work with me and pointed out that she credited me for work that was normally part of the service package but was not performed at my request. This resulted in a significant savings on my part. We purchased our car at Toyota of Muncie in the summer of 2009 and EVERY aspect of our experience has been great - pre-purchase, purchase, warranty, service. Even when there have been issues (few and minor), everyone responded with concern and made it right. I could pay less elsewhere, but like I told Lori, there is a real value to this level of service and care. The Danielses and everyone at Toyota of Muncie understand that and more so live it. My experience with Toyota of Muncie has been excellent. Beginning with the purchase of my new Camry a year ago, my sales associate Peggy Keller was great in trying to help me find the right vehicle. Everything was handled very professionally and explained to me in detail. Approximately a year later I experienced a problem with my car not starting. I called Toyota, talked to Peggy, and then after having my car jump started, brought it in to Toyota. After looking it over top to bottom, they could not find a good reason for it not starting. They charged the battery up and told me to call if I had anymore problems. A week later, again my car would not start. I called Peggy at Toyota. This time she sent someone over to jump start my car, then they followed me to the dealership. At that time, they took me to work while they worked on my car again. This time with the same result, no reason for the battery to be dead. After discussion with the manager, Peggy got permission to install a new battery into my car even though they could not ascertain that it was the problem. The car has been running fine ever since. I appreciate Peggy's and the Toyota staff's willingness to go above and beyond to satisfy a customer. More
The Toyota dealership of Muncie cannot be beat, in my opinion. Their customer service is outstanding, the quality of service is great, and any concerns I have about my car is always addressed promptly a opinion. I have taken my Toyota to this dealership for a long time and would not take it any other place. The prices are reasonable as well, which is important for my budget. It rates #1 in my book. More

The recent ice storm build up so much ice in my driveway that it tore back the valence underneath my Lexus ES300. It made my car sound like a snow plow as the valence dragged on the ground. After several days of putting up with it, I finally decided to take it in, thinking that a Toyota dealership would be able to fix it or have a new part if I needed one. I was prepared for a long wait and a big bill. I pulled into the bay and had no wait. When I said what was wrong to the woman at the counter, a service tech standing right there jumped in and said he could fix it immediately. It was done in less than five minutes (only had to place plastic pieces back in). No charge! He then asked me if I wanted to have my car washed for free. That was the longest part of the visit (10 minutes). I hung out in the waiting area and ate some food. Everything was clean and everybody was friendly. I'll definitely get my car serviced here again! More
