The way car buying should be! I was recently in the process of attempting to special order a new 2020 Tacoma Limited with specific accessories and color. I was using Consumer Repo I was recently in the process of attempting to special order a new 2020 Tacoma Limited with specific accessories and color. I was using Consumer Reports and other services to price the vehicle and contact different dealerships. Thus, all dealerships were providing me (or should have been) information/feedback and pricing on the EXACT SAME VEHICLE! From the majority of the dealerships contacted, I got the same old run-around, plus many of them wanted me to pay thousands of dollars for a vehicle that did not match my specifications! Toyota of Muncie and Mr. Brandon Franklin (my salesperson) not only listen to me and addressed all my specific needs/wants -- they saved me thousands of dollars over all the other dealerships, and we sealed the deal in about 15 minutes! I still cannot understand why (when your hard earned money) some dealers make you wait and wait and wait while they attempt to determine the price you should pay for a vehicle. Why can't they just provide you their BEST PRICE with their first offer?
